Thinking on the devastation of unjust war and of willfully unchecked disease this AM.

At 84, Powell was vaccinated but it was ultimately not enough against delta/COVID that is still spreading across America. The message remains tho: #GetVaccinated to protect the most vulnerable.

In newly filed argument to hold accused Proud Boy and Jan 6 conspirator Zach Rehl in jail until trial, federal prosecutors allege Rehl sent a text message at 2:29pm on Jan 6 .... saying "Civil War started"

At 1:34 pm, Rehl texted the same group, "We're at a standstill, cops are dropping concussion bombs and pepper spraying, people are pepper spraying back and fighting riot cops." At 2:29 pm, after hordes of rioter had entered the building, defendant texted the same group, "Civil war started." He followed at 2:48 pm with "They just broke all the doors and windows open, people are pouring in"
