You’re Not Allowed To Knock Trump For Stormy Daniels If You Watch Porn
Our culture is so far gone that we don't consider secretly watching porn to be adulterous behavior. But even watching porn is akin to having an affair.

Many have been quick to judge President Trump for his affair with pornography creator Stormy Daniels, and rightfully so. But Donald Trump is not the first man to cheat on his wife with an onscreen prostitute this year. Presumably, thousands of men engage in adulterous behavior with pornographers and strippers every day.
Culturally we may not believe it, but each time a married man watches pornography, he commits an act of adultery. This by no means justifies President Trump’s behavior. He slept with another woman while his wife was home caring for their son, and he deserves every second of criticism from his affair with Daniels.
To be clear, I do not intend to argue that pornography objectifies women, robs them of their dignity, treats them like commodities, and pushes them further into the bottomless pit of depravity. It most certainly does all those things and more, but that is a topic for another time. Rather, I want to focus on the fact that as an industry, pornography has created an entire generation of unwitting adulterers.
If anything can be attributed to the sexual revolution, it is the widespread popularization of pornography. It is the crowning achievement of a culture that treats sex flippantly, stripping it of its beauty and purpose, leaving only the bodily function. We have reduced sex to transactional entertainment and created a generation of pornography-addicted consumers, hiding behind the anonymity of a computer screen. But the computer screen does not confer innocence or fidelity.

'Twas the Night Before Drumpf's Mess
‘Twas the night before Christmas when through the White House,
The occupants panicked, wond'ring which fire to douse.
The smocking guns hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes maybe no one would think to look there.
The Traitor Tots trembled with fear in their beds,
While visions of jail time danced in their heads.
And Twitler rage-tweeted his usual crap
While Melania eyed him like he had the clap.
When in the Rose Garden there arose such a clatter,
Dumpster spilled all the cheeseburgers off of his platter.
He waddled to the window and opened the sash,
Hoping maybe it was Russians delivering cash.
The flashing blue lights on the new-fallen snow
Gave a lustre of midday to objects below,
When what to his wondering eyes should appear,
But a man with a warrant , and a manner severe.
Cheeto's face drained of blood, though it kept its weird color,
'Cause he knew in a moment it was old Robert Mueller.
More rapid than eagles his sources they came,
And he whistled and shouted and called them by name:
"Now Manafort, Flynn, Papadopolous and Cohen,
On Stormy, on Corsi, and on Roger Sto-en!
You're all under oath now, so answer my call,
Now dish away, dish away, dish away all!"
Like kids who can't look Daddy straight in the eye,
Without their lips quiv'ring when caught in a lie,
So the beans they all spilled, telling all that they knew,
Implicating Im-POTUS, and his whole family too.
And then in a twinkling Dumpster heard on the roof
The sure-footed step of a man who had proof.
As he hung his sad head and was turning around,
Down the chimney the Special Counsel came with a bound.
Dumpster knew that the endgame was finally afoot,
And his whole sordid enterprise now was caput.
A bundle of subpoenas, Mueller had on his back,
And he looked like a cobra about to attack.
His eyes - how they twinkled! His chin, legendary!
But to Dumpster of course, he looked totally scary.
His pursed lips allowed no emotion to show;
At poker the guy would have been a real pro!
Like a sharp Sword of Damocles tucked in its sheath,
His tongue was concealed behind sturdy white teeth.
When Drumpf saw that face, even just on the telly,
He trembled and shook like cheap tangerine jelly.
A taciturn man, Mueller kept to himself,
To the innocent, he was a kindly old elf.
But the glint in his eye and the tilt of his head
Soon gave Drumpf to know he'd be better off dead.
Mueller spoke not a word, but went straight to his work;
He pulled out some handcuffs and shackled the jerk.
And laying a finger aside of his nose,
Said "The rest of your family will also get those!"
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like a cheat-seeking missile.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
“Happy Christmas to all, except those I indict!"

Trump's White House Will Have to Go Green Under DC's New Clean Energy Plan
The DC Council on Tuesday passed one of the nation’s most ambitious clean energy bills to date, yet another sign that while the Trump administration moves backward on climate action, cities and states are continuing to move forward, even in the president’s own backyard.
The Clean Energy DC Act, approved in a unanimous vote by the council, requires the District to run on 100 percent renewable energy by 2032. That means the White House will have to comply as well.

Upwards of 20 cases of sexual harassment.
At least one accusation of rape from an underage minor. A massive, decades long record of income tax fraud. 17 separate investigations into his activities. Virtually every major organization he has run for two decades under investigation.
An international record of celebrating despots and autocrats and kleptocrats and brutal totalitarians and enemies. Unprecedented isolation from America's friends and a repeated record of insults of them and international rejection of him as a trusted leader.
Attacking America's law enforcement institutions. Attacking America's intelligence institutions. Collaborating with fellow travelers in the Congress to circumvent the laws and to undermine decades and decades of regulation. Irreversible damage done to the environment.
A campaign to take health care away from the neediest Americans. A systematic effort to deport productive contributors to our society who have lived and worked here for decades. Hypocrisy. Vulgarity. Deceit. Criminal behavior. Serial violation of his oath of office.
Serial betrayal of his country.
This is our president. This is the heir to Washington and Lincoln. He stole the office with the aid of our enemies and he has done grievous damage to this country ever since.
Sometimes I walk through Alexandria where I live past the places Washington walked and I have to admit it, it makes me physically ill. It is hard to imagine that there is a line from Washington to Trump, that we could have so squandered the legacies of past generations.
Read this list of wrongs and crimes and missteps and compound it with the ignorance and the incompetence and the absence of principles and the deficiency of character of this man. Think how each and any of them might have disqualified past leaders.
Think how you wouldn't allow such a man into your home or contact with your children and then of the power and prestige he has been given, the precious gifts of heritage that have been placed in his hands.
It is easy to grow numb to this. It is possible to become distracted by rage. But remembering what is at stake we must focus on undoing this great wrong that took place in 2016 and seeking justice for the crimes that contributed to that and have unfolded since.
Imagine what Washington or Lincoln would say were they to see this. Worse still, imagine what our grandchildren and generations to come will say. This is the history we bequeath to them. Let it in the end be an affirmation of our institutions and our ability to repel danger.
Let it in the end be worthy of the best of the legacy that came before. We're an imperfect society, but we should not elevate the worst among us as we have done with this man Trump and the corrupt crowd of enablers surrounding him.
