Bernie Sanders hits self-described 'great genius' Trump on his lies about the coronavirus

SEN. BERNIE SANDERS: In the White House today, we have a self-described ‘great genius’—self-described—and this great genius has told us that this coronavirus is going to end in two months. April is the magical date that this great scientist we have in the White House has determined—I wish I was kidding. That is what he said. What do we have to do? Whether or not the issue is climate change, which is clearly a global crisis requiring international cooperation, or infectious diseases like coronavirus, requiring international cooperation. We have to work and expand the World Health Organization. Obviously, we have to make sure the C.D.C., the N.I.H., our infectious departments, are fully funded. This is a global problem, we have to work with countries all over the world to solve it.

Tweety issues apology to Sanders

MSNBC did not respond to the uproar until Monday, when Mr. Matthews began his “Hardball” program by telling viewers, “I want to say something quite important and personal.”

“Senator Sanders, I’m sorry for comparing anything from that tragic era in which so many suffered, especially the Jewish people, to an electoral result of which you were the well-deserved winner,” Mr. Matthews said soberly into the camera.

“This is going to be a hard-fought, heated campaign of ideas,” the anchor added. “In the days and weeks and months ahead, I will strive to do a better job myself of elevating the political discussion.” Mr. Matthews concluded by congratulating Mr. Sanders on his Nevada victory.

BREAKING: Judge denies Roger Stone motion to disqualify her, issuing a scathing rejection

BREAKING: Judge denies Roger Stone motion to disqualify her, issuing a scathing rejection that concludes it lacks any “factual or legal support” and that it appears to be “a statement for public consumption” that includes the words ‘Judge’ and ‘bias’ in the same sentence.

Trying to think clearly is tough-But-could it be that the WH is source of Russia/Sanders story?

Seems like my tweet yesterday wasn't wrong. I'd suggested that sources for story that Russia was backing Sanders likely came from White House and not intel community and was intended to undermine intel assertion that Russia was looking to help Trump.

National security adviser Robert O'Brien tells ABC in interview to air tomorrow that he hasn't seen any evidence of Russia seeking to help Trump. Asked whether Russia might be helping Sanders, he says reports could be credible. "That's no surprise. He honeymooned in Moscow.
