Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI) made an angry video during the January 6 insurrection as he was sheltering in place.
Said Gallagher: “We are witnessing absolute banana republic crap in the United States Capitol right now. Donald Trump, you need to call this off.”
Yesterday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Gallagher voted against setting up a bipartisan commission to investigate the insurrection.

House Rules chair Jim McGovern rips McCarthy rejection of Jan. 6 commission, saying he can’t lead: “Trump got wind of what we’re doing and called up the Minority Leader and said ‘I don’t like it.’ Pathetic.”
McGovern: “If there’s anybody in this chamber who doesn’t believe that it’s important to get to the truth about what happened on the 6th — they are not fit to serve in this chamber. I have had it.”

This is an extreme step, to be sure, but it is the only way to ensure that the numerous unattended stairwells, service elevators, and janitor’s closets within these high rises are not at this very moment serving as a breeding ground for dangerous individuals hellbent on destruction. For those who would dare criticize this decision, we must ask how can we be expected to continue on knowing that our neighboring tenants, such as the dentist office on the fifth floor of our London location or the Gymboree outside our L.A. offices may be little more than fronts for violent terrorist organizations?
In addition, several of these location’s building managers have been rude to us at various times, which may also suggest rabid anti-democratic sympathies.
