kpete's JournalPompeo sounded flustered here because, as we just learned, he was lying
On This Week, Mike Pompeo initially seems flustered by a question about the IC whistleblower complaint, but then says, "I do think if VP Biden behaved inappropriately...we need to get to the bottom of that"

James Risen overheard Jay Sekulow: They've lost control of the narrative, and they're frightened.
James Risen overheard Jay Sekulow, the Presidents personal lawyer who probably will have to be Rudys cleanup brigade, in a green room. Theyve lost control of the narrative, and theyre frightened.
AT ABOUT 7:30 A.M. Friday morning, I arrived at Liveshots DC, a small television studio on Capitol Hill used by a number of different news programs. I had come to record an appearance on Democracy Now! with Amy Goodman, to talk about the Trump-Ukraine scandal.
After sitting down in one of two small adjoining rooms that served as the green room for guests, I looked up and noticed that there was one person waiting to appear on television in the next room. It was Jay Sekulow, who served as one of Donald Trumps lawyers during the Trump-Russia investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller, and continues to serve as one of Trumps personal lawyers. I also noticed that there were two men standing just outside the green room, who appeared to be security guards there to protect Sekulow. (They were wearing lapel pins and dressed in dark suits, but I dont know whether they were private security or government employees.)
Sekulow was standing on the other side of the open door connecting his room to mine. Not long after I noticed him, he got on his cell phone. I dont know who he was talking to, but he got right to the point in his phone conversation.Im going on CBS at 8, he said. Im going to see the president at 10. Weve got to get on top of this thing. I think we can, but we have got to get on top of this.
A moment or two later, Sekulow added: Hes going all around town, stirring things up. Its not helpful."

Crack In the Fox (News)? "Trump acted alone in withholding the aid over the summer."
Fox News has learned that the Pentagon, State Department and National Security Council were unanimous in supporting the aid to Ukraine, and that Trump acted alone in withholding the aid over the summer.https://twitter.com/ElaineLuriaVA/status/1178485025999904769

TPM: A bit more about Ukraine & the husband and wife team of Joe diGenova and Victoria Toensing.
As I noted yesterday, material that has been surfacing from The Hills opinion reporter John Solomon and then echoed by Giuliani seems to originate with one of Ukraines richest and most powerful oligarchs who is a former business partner of Paul Manafort and had to flee Ukraine after the overthrow of pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych in 2014. He is in Austria, fighting extradition to the United States to face bribery charges.
His name is Dimtry Firtash.
Viktor Shokin is the fired prosecutor at the center of all these stories. As part of Firtashs effort to avoid extradition from Austria to the United States, he asked Shokin to swear out the affidavit in which Shokin accuses Biden of getting him fired to protect his son Hunter. (There is no evidence any of this happened. There was no investigation of Hunter Biden or the company on whose board he sat at the time Shokin was fired.)
So to review, former Manafort business partner Firtash asks Shokin to swear out an affidavit in which he accuses Biden. The affidavit quickly gets into the hands of Giuliani and Solomon. And who just recently went to work for Firtashs legal team? None other than diGenova and Toensing, as reported just this week by the Kyiv Post and other publications.
So the duo who we now learned has been working on behalf of the President with Rudy Giuliani to extort the Ukrainian government just signed on to represent the oligarch behind the affidavit in which the disgraced prosecutor says Joe Biden got him fired. And yes, the oligarch who got booted from Ukraine in 2014 and is a former business partner of Paul Manafort.

Challenge accepted!
Btw, the Earth itself sits in a mostly empty void of our solar system, all the humans gathered together in a little blue dot. Just making sure you understand how this works.
