Why did Federal Savings Bank Chairman, Steve Calk
want a position as Secretary of Treasury or Housing and Urban Development? Besides the prestige of being a Cabinet member, what power and ability to profit would be derived from this appointment? Any ideas?
"Brennan, who testified under a grand of immunity from prosecution, told the federal court jury that the bank raised serious concerns about Manaforts misstatements of income, credit card delinquency and his failure to disclose existing mortgages on at least two properties as part of his 2016 loan applications.
In addition, Brennan (Vice President Federal Savings Bank) said a member of the banks own credit committee objected to Manaforts application, only to be overruled by Calk, the bank's chief executive officer.
The loans were approved, Brennan testified, because Mr. Calk wanted it to close.
Last week, a former bank official testified that Calk had been in discussions with Manafort about a job, including considerations for a Cabinet post as secretary of the Treasury or Housing and Urban Development."

Science and Religion co-exist in the Simulation Hypothesis
Seems like more and more serious scientists are entertaining the idea that we are living in a hologram or dream reality:
If these people are correct, Why are we projecting Trump in our shared simulation and how do we get him out?

This is what all of our Democratic Representatives should be doing: Goading the Republicans to grow some Patriotic Spines to investigate the fraud in their own back yards.
Who was on Nixon's Political Enemies Hit List?
A recent Rachel Maddow show had me wondering who was on Richard Nixon's Political Enemies hit list, anyway. She reminded me that Nixon's Political Enemies list was intended to be used to investigate people who spoke out against him.
Apparently, Politicians, Celebrities Newspaper journalists, Businessmen and University Professors were included on Nixon's list which he sent to the director of the IRS instructing him to aggressively audit their tax returns.
Carol Channing, actress stated that inclusion on the list was her greatest accomplishment.
Other celebrities on the list were:
Bill Cosby, comedian
Jane Fonda, actress and political activist
Dick Gregory, comedian and civil rights and peace activist.
John Lennon, musician and activist
Steve McQueen, actor
Joe Namath, former New York Jets Quarterback
Paul Newman, actor
Gregory Peck, actor
Tony Randall, actor
Barbra Streisand, actress, singer, director, producer, writer, philanthropist, political advocate
Here's a Wiki entry listing the rest of the people on it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master_list_of_Nixon%27s_political_opponents
