"Holy S***": woman on Twitter gets pic of Jeff Goldblum on her pillow in a hotel, per her request
https://twitter.com/saikocat/status/9952974180476231751- AFAICT, this is not trolling.
2- I never knew any woman viewed him as sexy.
Sorry, the two words in the subject line are the only thing besides the two photos in her tweet.
I had no idea that crocodiles are in Florida...
Alligators, hell yes, but crocodiles ? I always thought they were in Africa, Asia, South America and other places!

This GD thread make me look it up: https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=10607917
I've lived in Florida almost 60 years and never knew this. The things you learn because of DU.
America's oldest living WWII veteran turns 112, fueled by cigars, Dr Pepper and coffee
https://www.stripes.com/news/america-s-oldest-living-wwii-veteran-turns-112-fueled-by-cigars-dr-pepper-and-coffee-1.526405AUSTIN -- The oldest man in America, who's also the oldest U.S. veteran, wakes on his couch at 4:25 a.m. and wonders if it's still raining.
The blinds of his home are drawn shut. The trickles from an overnight storm fall onto the trees. "Turn on the lights," he says to his caregiver, who has sat by his side all night, waiting for Richard Overton to open his eyes.
He's helped onto a scale, which says his frail figure is a perfect 125 pounds. His blood pressure is a solid 110 over 80. His body temperature is 97.4 degrees.
In a few days, on Friday, he'll turn 112. "And I have no pains, no aches."
Zookeepers charged after Kodiak bear rides shotgun to Dairy Queen
https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/05/10/zoo_faces_charges_after_bear_rides_shotgun_to_dairy_queen/Canadian law enforcement is bearing down on a pair of zoo owners whose wild trip to the local Dairy Queen wasn't quite the Kodiak moment they'd hoped for.
Doug Bos and Debbie Rowland, who own the the Discovery Wildlife Park in Innisfail, Alberta, have been charged under the Wildlife Act after they took a one-year-old bear to an ice cream drive-thru and allowed staff to feed it.
The duo said they "forgot" to tell the authorities that they were planning to take Berkley the Kodiak bear for the jaunt, which according to the Canadian press they proceeded to film and post on social media.
The video captured the bear being hand-fed an ice cream cone from the front seat of one of the zoo's trucks, but was later removed after public outcry.
Parnate and Lithium Carbonate, my upcoming combo
Next chapter in my psychotropic meds saga: My doc wants to augment my now-working Parnate with Lithium Carbonate ER. It's not because I am Bipolar I, Bipolar II, or Bipolar III (Cyclothymic), but because Lithium apparently works well with Parnate. According to WebMD, I could be categorized as "Bipolar V" only because of my family history of Bipolar I. Bipolar IV is only if you experience "manic or hypomanic episodes that occur only after taking antidepressant medications".
I digress. At any rate, I did my Google University research ™ ® and it is a combo that is used. I must admit, I'm a tad nervous about taking a med that requires regular blood work and care not to get too dehydrated. He mentioned augmenting with Geodon, but that freaked me out even more because it's an atypical anti-psychotic. To me, anti-psychotics (atypical or not) are the absolute last resort because of the possibility of tardive dyskinesia and just my own personal bias. I will take it if the Lithium fails and the doc makes a good case for it, so I'm not totally closed-minded about it.
I hope my rambling about my meds over the past 4 months has helped someone out there. It helps me, so for that, I am grateful, my kind readers. I wish all of you good mental health.
How Robin Williams was being torn apart and couldn't fight back (diffuse Lewy body dementia)
https://nypost.com/2018/05/05/how-an-incurable-brain-disease-haunted-robin-williams-final-days/(yea it's the NY Post but this is non-political)
Robin Williams struggled to remember his lines.
This was unusual for the hyperverbal, Oscar-winning actor, and it hit him hard in Vancouver in 2014 during the filming of Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, the third movie in the successful family franchise.
He was sobbing in my arms at the end of every day. It was horrible. Horrible, makeup artist Cheri Minns recalled. I said to his people, Im a makeup artist. I dont have the capacity to deal with whats happening to him.
Minns suggested to Robin that he return to stand-up to get out of his rut and reclaim some of his lost confidence. But Robin refused.
The diffuse Lewy body dementia diagnosis is much further down in the article.
Did or does your vehicle have fuzzy dice hanging from the rear-view mirror ?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuzzy_diceI ask, because a current multi-player video game has them in its "muscle car" (reminds me of a late '60's Camaro maybe?)
By the time I started driving in 1974, we never discussed them or had them.
