WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump could meet with Vladimir Putin’s top diplomat at the White House on Wednesday, a U.S. official and a person with knowledge of the plans said, describing what would be the highest level, face-to-face contact with Russia of the American leader’s young presidency. It would also signal that the two countries have improved ties that Trump recently described as being at an “all-time low.”

Trump’s talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov would occur after the Russian’s meetings earlier in the day with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, the official and the other person told The Associated Press. They weren’t authorized to speak publicly on the matter and demanded anonymity. The White House declined a request for confirmation.

New video footage has emerged showing the moments leading up to the altercation that occurred on United Airlines flight 3411 on Sunday.

The clip, taken by fellow passenger Joya Griffin Cummings, shows a passenger, who has been identified as Dr. David Dao, speaking to security personnel who are telling him to deplane after the airline overbooked the flight.

“I won’t go, I’m a physician I have to work tomorrow, 8 o’clock…” Dao says......

So here’s something you don’t see every day on local TV news: An attack on mainstream media delivered by the person running the largest TV broadcast company in the country.

At 3:45 p.m. Thursday, Scott Livingston, the Vice President of News with Sinclair Broadcast Group, delivered this warning on air on KOMO-TV airwaves:

“I’m sure you know about the troubling trend of irresponsible, one-sided news stories plaguing our country,” he said. “The sharing of biased and false news has become all too common on social media. More alarming, national media outlets are publishing these same fake stories without fact checking first.
