uppityperson's JournalHow to notify MIRT about a potential MI, troll
If you see a troll, a MI, or serve on a jury and think MIRT should get notice you have a couple options to let them know.
1. If a post is hidden by 4/3 or more of a jury and the poster has under 100 posts, MIRT will get notice. If a post is not hidden, they will not. If the vote is Leave, MIRT will NOT get notice.
Simply writing in the comments things like this and leaving will not necessarily get notice to MIRT unless enough others vote to hide or someone sends a team member a pm.
"If it's a troll leaving then the troll will be dealt with by MIRT."
2. Send a MIR team member a message. There is always a link to the current team in Announcements forum.
Thank you.
ETA, MIRT takes care of those under 100 posts so for those worried about trying to get rid of long term DUers, that is up to Admin.
Persuade me why Martin should the democratic candidate without
posting negatives about anyone else. I would like to know why I should support him, without using drawbacks or flaws of any other candidate.
Why should I support him?

"Have a wonderful evening"
I picked up a pizza for supper last night and almost had to leave the store without it. Everyone was so cheerful.
"Hi! how are you doing?" (well, my dad just died)
"Welcome to pizza store. What can we get for you?" (happiness?)
"It'll be right up!" ( )
I stood at the edge of the store, arms crossed over my chest, hands under my arms, waiting rather than running because I really wanted to take a pizza home for my husband.
"Here's your pizza. Hope you have a great evening" ( )
However, progress was made in that I ate a piece and my stomach didn't hurt.
For history, it was expected, he was old, I'm a nurse who does in home care, home health, hospice and had to play it out as a family member letting someone I love die.
It's been a month. Steps forward, steps back, steps forward.
Best wishes to you all.

http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/boston-bombing-trial/boston-bombing-trial-jury-reaches-verdict-penalty-phase-n359731
The verdict was delivered by the same jury that on April 8 convicted Tsarnaev of all 30 criminal counts against him, covering the bombing and its violent aftermath, including the killing of an MIT police officer and a shootout with police in which Tsarnaev's co-conspirator older brother was killed.
Of those counts, 17 carried the possibility of execution. The jury needed to reach a unanimous agreement in at least one of those counts to send Tsarnaev to death row. The verdict did not indicate which of those counts the jury agreed on.
The verdict came despite a distaste for capital punishment in Boston and across Massachusetts. The death penalty was banned in the state 1984, and a convict has not been executed there since 1947.
A Boston Globe poll published last month showed that fewer than 20 percent of state residents favored death for Tsarnaev, down from 33 percent in September 2013......(more)

About 100 bodies found in Nepal trekking village
http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/05/04/us-quake-nepal-collapse-idUSKBN0NI12120150504The bodies were recovered on Saturday and Sunday at the Langtang village, 60 kilometers (40 miles) north of Kathmandu, which is on a trekking route popular with Westerners. The entire village, which includes 55 guesthouses for trekkers, was wiped out by the avalanche, officials said.
"Local volunteers and police personnel are digging through six-feet (deep) snow with shovels looking for more bodies," said
Gautam Rimal, assistant chief district officer in the area where Langtang is located.
