Mira's JournalSafety Belt - Crash Helmet - and Diapers were needed for Breaking Bad tonight
I saw it with 4 college students in a downtown theater, where they filled it (for free admission) with fans of all ages and walks of life.
The noise of the folks in their anticipation and the commentary was like the buzzing of excited and nervous bees. When the show started it was as if their throats were all cut in the same second, til the cacophony would resurge during commercials to stop in an instant same breath stop when the show resumed.
It was an unprecedented experience when it comes to the behavior of a crowd.
Two comments from the college students afterwards:
"I need a beer now to sober up"
and
"I was going to have a nice quiet evening and meditate, now I'll be sitting on my bed, crying myself to sleep."
It was a night to remember.
This Mom nails it while kindly telling her kid that we can't have it all. (Sat night funny)
It's about our children / societal choices and their consequences (Fitzsimmons Cartoon)
Precious. Kids are such a joy, especially those of other people
This Kid looked like she was grown, in her eyes. Her parents said it was OK for me to snap a photo. Now that I look at it I see it shows one of my favorite things about kids discovering their digits, and that they can control them. When they still think they are the only ones to have them.
Trying to smile at this timely cartoon - Margulies on Zimmerman still being armed
Look at this before you make an ad for ebay!
No-one cares about this critter at the pool and a few other shots from today
This iguana, and his/her family members hang out with the humans and nobody cares
The look of the handle bar against the sky as I came out of the pool intrigued me
