OK Bernie People - What Can We Do To Help Get The Blackedout Info On Bernie Out To The Public?.....

It the last day I've now read at least two threads here on DU that provide the facts/numbers/info on how the MSM has blacked out coverage to Bernie in relation to the other candidates.

Here's one: http://www.democraticunderground.com/128082379

Here's another: http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251894934

How can we as Bernie supporters get this information out the American People in a big way to show them that they are being sandbagged by the MSM and the 1% and that Bernie's message is being kept from them on purpose. That they are being steered clear of Bernie - because he poses a threat to the lifestyles of the 1% and has the right message for the rest of us 99%'ers.

I know that if the American People realize that they are being kept away from Bernie's message in comparison to all the other candidates that they would begin rally around Bernie.

Now I'm not that computer savvy to put a youtube video together or start some sort of viral campaign to get this word out - but I'm sure that there are Bernie supporters here on DU that are capable and knowledgeable to do just that.

Something like showing the differences in coverage between Bernie and other candidates and then some clips of what Bernie's platform is and some of his statements from his speeches versus what some of the other candidates are saying with statements from some of their speeches.

We here on DU learn about what the MSM has done and continues to do to Bernie. The rank and file American - being manipulated by the MSM doesn't have a clue - and I'm sure if something was put together and taken viral - to show just how Bernie is being discriminated in the press and on tv - that they would begin to rally around Bernie.

I know that while DU is down for an extended time over this weekend and possibly into a bit of next week - that I'm going to tell everyone that I know what is being kept away from them. Others of you Bernie supporters here on DU that are more with it on putting videos together and social media - please use that time when DU is down to put something together that we can take viral.

This word needs to get out - and we can help. If the MSM won't get the word out - it is up to us Bernie supporters to get the word out.

Any other ideas would be appreciated. Post them here or your support of this idea.

'Don't Trump On Me'.....

Is there somebody on DU that is good at Photoshop?

Here's an idea: change the don't tread on me flag to Don't Trump On Me and substitute the Donald's hair for the snake.

I'm thinking that this would be funny.

Rahm Has Damaged The Holidays For The People Of Chicagoland And The Loop Merchants.....

I've talked with a number of neighbors and friends that traditionally go to downtown Chicago during the holidays to visit the Christkindlmarket (German Christmas Market); Macy's (formerly Marshall Field's) to see the Oak Room tree and have a holiday dinner; walk State Street to view the decorated Christmas windows and to round out their Christmas shopping.

This year - because of the Police scandal and the cover-up by the Mayor - it appears that everyone is to afraid to go downtown because of all the protests in and around the Loop and the potential for possible outbreak of trouble. Also - all of these protests are just inconveniencing. It's hard to take a kid to look at the window displays when protesters and police on bicycles are blocking the sidewalks and the view. Also - what do you tell your kid that is frightened by the show of force by the police and the chants of the protesters.

Don't get me wrong - I support the protesters and what they are doing - in fact they are probably too effective in their protests which is causing people to think twice about going downtown and carrying out their Christmas traditions. I agree with them and want Rahm and Alverez to resign. If Rahm is really serious about his feelings for this city - he should step down.

I'm sure that this is having an effect on the merchants business and ability to make some money over the holidays - both in the stores and the Christmas Market. A lot of sales tax revenue that would go to the city - is being lost. Not to mention parking fees, restaurants being effected by lack of people.

So not only are the People of Chicagoland (the surrounding suburbs) and the merchants feeling the effects - but I'm sure that there is a big economic hit to the city - due to loss of revenues that they normally count on this time of year.

For the good of the People of Chicagoland and Chicago City proper and the merchants - Rahm should do the right thing and resign.

That would go a long way to restore the trust. Along with the DOJ investigation and the impending changes that will make things better - we'll all benefit.

Do the right thing Rahm - Resign!!!!!!

Millennials Surpassed Baby Boomers As The Largest Share Of The U.S.'s Voting-Age Population......

The U.S. now has 88 million millennials, people born 1981 to 2000. They are more than the sum of their student loans. This generation has tremendous political clout: Three of 10 voting-age Americans are millennials, and more members of the generation reach voting age each day.

New TV Show Idea: CYA Chicago.....

CYA = Cover Your Ass

A lot of that will be going on in Chicago now that there will be a DOJ investigation - from the Police force to the state's attorney to the aldermen and ultimately the Mayor - Rahm.

Has Christie Responded To Trump's Comments Of Last Night That Christie Knew About Bridgegate?.....

I haven't heard anything in the press today and I might have just missed or overlooked it.

I can't believe that Christie wouldn't have some comments about Trump's remarks of last night. But on the other hand - maybe Christie doesn't want to open that whole subject up again and is purposely not responding to Trump's comments.

How Soon Before The Chicago Police And Rahm Become At Odds With Each Other?

Rahm - though he says he's responsible - will do everything he can to not take the hit on this police scandal going on in Chicago.

Most people believe that Rahm viewed the video and determined it would be detrimental to his re-election. So it was suppressed and a $5 mil settlement was made to McDonald's family before even a lawsuit was filed. The intent was to sweep it under the rug. If the judge didn't push for the video to be released - there would be no DOJ investigation now. This would have all passed unnoticed.

Now that the DOJ is breathing down Chicago and Rahm's neck - watch for a lot of weasel words from Rahm and watch his finger continue to point to the Chicago Police, the police union, the internal investigators, etc.

I'm wondering how much of that the Chicago Police representatives will take before they lash out at Rahm and draw him into the scandal?

It's going to be interesting to see how this develops - but I really believe that it's going to take a Rahm resignation to put things right in Chicago again.

Both the Police force and the political structure of the city - aldermen and mayor - need a complete overhaul in order to instill confidence in the People of Chicago again.
