One Question I'd Like To Hear Asked To Trump Tomorrow In Arizona Is.....

"Mr. President you and your family seem to have weathered the coronavirus well and you all remain as healthy as ever. What can you tell the American People that you personally do in order not to contract the coronavirus yourself? What tips can you give them that you do that can help more American's remain healthy and virus free?"

I'd really be interested in HIS answer and not what people here at DU think he does or has done for him.

'At Home Telecasts' - I'm Finding Watching Them Really Refreshing.....

Now that everybody is in the same boat and having to self-isolate in their homes with the stay-at-home orders - I'm finding watching these 'at home telecasts' really refreshing, fun and great.

Seeing celebrities in their homes is getting to know that they are real people - just like you and I. They seem relaxed. They aren't made up. Needing haircuts. Roots growing out. They wear plain clothes like all of us do. They're not dressed like they've been shopping on Rodeo Drive. They're coping with much of the same issues all of us are having to deal with.

I enjoy seeing the homes they live in and their surroundings. I enjoy getting to see their children that many times show up in the zoom session. I enjoy getting to know them in a different way than the way that we normally see them appearing in a TV show or in an appearance on one of the many talk shows.

Jimmy Fallon has a great 'at home telecast'. So does Seth Meyers and Jimmy Kimmel. SNL's 'at home telecasts' are more fun than watching the regular SNL's.

I know my lady friend talks about all the afternoon talk shows she watches and says the same things about the hosts and the celebrities that appear on those shows.

Even the cooking shows are having 'at home telecasts' and the Pioneer Lady's show is a hoot. Makes my attempts at cooking feel like I really connect with her. Guy Fieri has a Takeout Triple D show from his home that's great.

Garth and Trisha had a great 'at home' show. I play guitar and to hear an acoustic performance by Garth was educational for me - I even learned a few playing tricks watching him. Lady GaGa's One World At Home show was magnificent. Just the fact that most of the musical performances are acoustic and not electrified is refreshing. You hear the music with a whole new ear.

All in all - these 'at home telecasts' have really made me feel connected with these celebrities and the world in a way that one never connected with in the pre-Covid world.

I really hope that the 'powers that be' that produce shows in the future post-Covid world - maintain many of the elements of these 'at home telecasts' that are really feel good TV.

I've caught a lot of these 'at home telecasts'. Either I watch them when they are telecast or I DVR them for a later watch - and I'm interested in hearing from others here on DU if you feel the same way i do about these 'at home telecasts' and I'd like to learn what your favorite 'at home telecasts' are.

With The Administration Making All These Dire Covid Death Predictions - Why Oh Why......

are they letting Trump talk up re-opening? I just don't get it. Do these predictions take into account the fact that States are re-opening and people are getting careless about distancing, stay-at-home and wearing masks?

I understand that Trump is only focused on his re-election. However, if these projections come true and we see a second spike (as bad or maybe worse than the first) how does Trump think re-opening will help him?

I see it as he's just shooting himself in the foot. It's almost like he wants to lose in November.

How could he think Americans would vote for him if he just causes us to have to endure all over again what we've already been through?

I Fully Expect Trump To Make The Following Statement Soon.....

"When the weather gets cold, as we move from Fall to Winter - the virus can't survive cold weather and we will be done with this crisis. It will be over. Probably around November."
