Get McConnell on the record now as to whether he still thinks Trump can make a SCOTUS appointment.

do you think Trump can overcome the embarrassment that comes with the releasing such a tape to the MSM? He says he can shoot someone in the middle of Times Square and get away with it - why couldn't he overcome the pee tape?
And further - if he does - he wouldn't have that hanging over him anymore and wouldn't be able to continue to be blackmailed into aiding Putin. He could then turn on Putin and really put Putin in his place.

It's Not That The Repugs Don't Care Russia Interfered With The 2016 Election.....
It's that they want the same interference to happen in Nov 2018 so that they can keep their power base. They are counting on Russia messing with the election again. They have no incentive to put a stop to this interference.
I don't understand why the talking heads on the cable news shows - don't mince words and tell the public this. They seem to be talking around the issue. They acknowledge that Russia interfered in 2016. They admit that there have been no measures taken to prevent it from happening in 2018. They just won't say that the Repugs have a vested interest in Russia interfering in 2018.
The Repugs are in kind of a win-win situation going into 2018. If they maintain the House and Senate - they are home free and continue on the path they have taken since 2016. If they lose the House and/or Senate - they then will get on their high horses and say that the Dems winning was illegitimate because of Russian interference. We know that is what Fox News will be touting and guess what - the deplorables that listen to Fox - will believe it.
