global1's JournalI Would Like To Be A Fly On The Wall In The Room They Practiced Mug Shots.....
Think about it. A group of people sitting around - advising Tr**p on how he should look on a mug shot.
A cameraman taking shot after shot with Tr**p trying out dozens of poses.
A table where all these shots get laid out on and then the whole bunch of them - including Tr**p - voting on the one that they thought looked best and portrayed the sinister look he wanted to achieve.
Let's pick the top five poses - then we could whittle it down to the top two. Then we could vote on the one that we think is best.
After they choose the pose they want - they have to get Tr**p to try and recreate their number 1 pose.
After hours and hours of taking pics. Evaluating pics. Picking THE pic. Trying to recreate the look. They're finally done and ready to fly to Georgia.
Before the flight, however, they begin to make arrangements with a premium and incentive company that will take the final product of the Georgian process and place it on: Mugs, T-shirts, flags, 8 x 10 glossy's, etc - to enable them to begin the process of grifting and fleecing money out of their MAGA dupes.
More time and energy goes into this process than Tr**p's lawyers spend on going over all the evidence they need to so they could lodge a defense in his upcoming 4 criminal trials.
Heaven forbid that he gets indicted again. Because they'll have to go through this process all over again to pick just the right shot for his next mug shot.

What in God's name is the thinking here.
This guy was impeached twice and is now facing four criminal indictments with more pending. Two which had to do with overthrowing the government. Is a sexual predator whom a judge labeled him as a rapist. Stole two secret government documents that could possibly endanger those undercover around the world trying to protect this nation; etc, etc, etc.
How in the world can this guy be allowed to run for the office of the presidency again.
This is just absurd. I can't imagine what our allies around the world think about us.
How Have Your TV Watching Habits Changed Since The Writer's & Actor's Strike?......
For me - I'm getting to bed a lot earlier and am getting more than adequate sleep. I don't miss the late night talk shows or even the hosts.
All they are showing are old re-runs of mostly outdated material. In a way I feel sorry for all the advertisers on these shows - because they are paying big money for naught. People aren't watching.
Same goes for all the sit-coms and drama shows. All re-runs.
So I've been gravitating over to the History, Travel, National Geographic, Discover type channels and DYI shows. I consider myself getting both educated and interested in things like archaeology, World and U.S and fixing things.
I don't think I'll ever go back to watch the late night shows again. I used to DVR Cobert, Fallon, Kimmel & Meyers - so I could play back their monologues. Most times that is all I took in on their shows unless they had an occasionally good guest that wasn't all preachy and promotional.
In a way - I don't care if they ever settle the strikes.
One thing I would watch - if some channel or network pick them up - is some of the streaming shows that I miss because I don't stream.
I realize that there are many awards given for shows and stars of said shows - that I don't know anything about. All of them would be new material to me.
I don't know why these networks and streaming companies don't get together in this time of the strike - to offer some new material for us non-streamers to watch. I would even be good for the advertiser that would run commercials on these shows.
Game shows are always fun to watch - but even they are into re-runs now. I don't know if it is just a seasonal artifact or if they're affected by the strike also.
So I pose this question here - How have your TV watching habits changed in this time of the strike? Will you go back to your old habits when the strikes are settled?

It seems that there have been a number of very major recalls being issued by many automobile companies. What's going on?
Are they not doing the quality control that needs to be done to assure that the cars they put out to the public are safe?
