Says a lot, doesn't it?

Nadler ain't happy

Iím deeply troubled by reports that the WH is being briefed on the Mueller report AHEAD of its release. Now, DOJ is informing us we will not receive the report until around 11/12 tomorrow afternoon ó AFTER Barrís press conference. This is wrong.

White House and Justice Dept. Officials Discussed Mueller Report Before Release

Source: New York Times

WASHINGTON ó Robert S. Mueller IIIís findings will be public on Thursday, but some of them will not be news to President Trump.

Justice Department officials have had numerous conversations with White House lawyers about the conclusions made by Mr. Mueller, the special counsel, in recent days, according to people with knowledge of the discussions. The talks have aided the presidentís legal team as it prepares a rebuttal to the report and strategizes for the coming public war over its findings.

A sense of paranoia is taking hold among some of Mr. Trumpís aides, some of whom fear his backlash more than the findings themselves, the people said. The report might make clear which of Mr. Trumpís current and former advisers spoke to the special counsel, how much they said and how much damage they did to the president ó providing a kind of road map for retaliation.

The discussions between Justice Department officials and White House lawyers have also added to questions about the propriety of the decisions by Attorney General William P. Barr since he received Mr. Muellerís findings late last month.

Seems legit.

BREAKING: AG Barr tonight directed immigration judges to deny bond hearings to asylum seekers.

BREAKING: Attorney General William Barr tonight directed immigration judges to deny bond hearings to asylum seekers. Our Constitution does not allow the government to lock up asylum seekers without basic due process. We'll see the administration in court. Again.

Deripaska's company to build aluminum plant in Kentucky, home of McConnell & Rand Paul

You can't make this up, tweeps:

Company of sanctioned Russian oligarch & election interferer DERIPASKA -- granted unexplained sanctions relief by Treasury --announces it will build totally pointless aluminum plant in Kentucky, home of McConnell+Rand Paul

Months after sanctions were lifted, Russian aluminum maker Rusal is investing in new aluminum mill in Kentucky

So the home state of the most powerful man in the Senate (McConnell) is benefiting from lifting sanctions on (giving money to) Oleg Deripaska

I will post the press release in the next post.

The WH has been brief on Mueller report, & are very worried about what Don McGahn told Mueller.

The White House has been briefed on the Mueller report and "there is significant concern on the president's team about what will be in this report," and "what worries them most is what Don McGahn told the special counsel," @jonkarl reports on @ThisWeekABC

Nadler says he's asked DOJ for an immediate briefing to explain more re: Barr's "spying" comments
