An extensive Analysis of the questions Mueller wants to ask Trump

... snip

During the campaign, what did you know about Russian hacking, use of social media or other acts aimed at the campaign?

*Intelligence Community Assessment and Mueller's indictment of Russians both confirm that Russia had an explicit goal of trying to help elect Donald Trump through hacking/disseminating damaging information on Clinton and pushing fake news/disinformation online.
*The Intelligence Community has explicit intelligence indicating this order came directly from Putin.
*Papadapolous plead guilty to lying to the FBI and had been reported by our allies to have been discussing Russia having Clinton emails before it was publicly known.
*This was the official start of the FBI investigation
*Trump had asked Russia publicly to find Hillary's missing emails
*Trump and his campaign frequently promoted Wikileaks
*Trump Jr appears to have gotten some communication from Wikileaks during the election
*Roger Stone spoke with both Assange and Guccifer 2.0 during the election
*The Cambridge Analytica whistleblower claims that Bannon was early on testing messaging for Putin/Russia
*The Cambridge Analytica whistleblower claims a Russian Official was asking questions in regards to targeting for unknown reasons
*SCL Group (tied to Cambridge Analytica) had paid Flynn
*Mueller has already indicted the Russian Internet Research Agency and multiple individuals in response to their involvement and interference in the 2016 election.
*Multiple Trump associates promoted accounts tied to the Internet Research Agency during the election.

Interference was wide spread and Trump's team seemed willing to work with Russia on multiple occasions. Its again a question of whether or not this is some widespread campaign conspiracy that Trump somehow didn't know about (unlikely) or was part of a coordinated plan.

NEW: Sean Hannity revealed as secret owner behind shell companies that have spent $90m buying 870+ homes across the US – with help from HUD and foreclosures

Michael Cohen case shines light on Sean Hannity's property empire

Fox News host who said Trump’s fixer ‘knows real estate’ has a portfolio that includes support from Department of Housing and Urban Development, a fact he did not mention when interviewing secretary Ben Carson last year

When Sean Hannity was named in court this week as a client of Donald Trump’s embattled legal fixer Michael Cohen, the Fox News host insisted their discussions had been limited to the subject of buying property.

“I’ve said many times on my radio show: I hate the stock market, I prefer real estate. Michael knows real estate,” Hannity said on television, a few hours after the dramatic hearing in Manhattan, where Cohen is under criminal investigation.

Hannity’s chosen investment strategy is confirmed by thousands of pages of public records reviewed by the Guardian, which detail a real estate portfolio of remarkable scale that has not previously been reported.

The records link Hannity to a group of shell companies that spent at least $90m on more than 870 homes in seven states over the past decade. The properties range from luxurious mansions to rentals for low-income families. Hannity is the hidden owner behind some of the shell companies and his attorney did not dispute that he owns all of them.

Summary of a Comey interview that just might surprise you

In an interview with David Remnick, James Comey dodges a question about Rudy joining Trump’s team: “I don’t know what to make of it....There’s no doubt he’s a smart and skilled attorney.”

Remnick asks Comey why he didn’t investigate Trump’s businesses when Comey was a US attorney in NY. Comey did not really have an answer.

Comey says he doesn’t know whether Trump has an FBI file, adds: “And if I knew I wouldn’t tell you.”

Comey says he’s voting next election. He adds that the last time he thought of myself as a Republican was 2012, says he’s not going to be a Democrat, and his political affiliation is “a neither.”

Asked about @NateSilver538’s claim that the Comey letter decided the election, Comey says “I hope that’s not true.” He adds that he hopes another academic study is released contradicting Silver.

Comey says he wishes Anthony Weiner had never been born.

Comey says his wife asked him why he told @jaketapper he didn’t dislike Trump. Comey says he actually feels sorry for Trump because “he has an emptiness inside of him and a need for affirmation I’ve never seen in an adult.”

There it is: Comey says we’d probably be better off if Hillary Clinton was president, adds that the country bears responsibility for poor presidential choices.

AP has Comey memos. Update: ***Here they are.***

BREAKING: AP obtains memos drafted by former FBI Director James Comey on interactions with President Donald Trump

Looks like we'll get to see them.

Ah, here are those James Comey memos uploaded by the AP:

Manafort Suspected of Serving as Back Channel to Russia, DOJ Says

Source: Bloomberg

*Prosecutors defend Mueller’s actions in pursuing Manafort
*Judge weighing whether Mueller exceeded his authority

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s interest in former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort stemmed in part from his suspected role as a “back channel” between the campaign and Russians intent on meddling in the election, a Justice Department lawyer told a judge.

The disclosure by U.S. prosecutors came Thursday during a hearing on whether Mueller exceeded his authority in indicting Manafort on charges of laundering millions of dollars while acting as an unregistered agent of the Ukrainian government. Manafort’s lawyers say those alleged crimes have nothing to do with Mueller’s central mission -- to determine whether anyone in the Trump campaign had links to the Russian government.

Defense attorney Kevin Downing argued anew to U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson in Washington that even Mueller’s appointment order permitting him to probe “any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation” wouldn’t cover the political consulting work that Manafort did in Ukraine for a decade.

British regulator opens seven investigations into Russia's RT news channel

Russia's RT faces seven investigations in Britain over broadcasts since Skripal case

ONDON (Reuters) - Britain’s media regulator opened seven investigations into Russian news channel RT, saying it had found an increase in programs which may have breached impartiality rules since a nerve agent attack on a former Russian spy last month.

The poisoning, which Britain blamed on Russia, prompted the biggest Western expulsions of diplomats since the height of the Cold War. Russia has denied any involvement and suggested Britain carried out the attack to stoke anti-Russian hysteria.

Russia has warned that every British media outlet, such as the British Broadcasting Corporation, will be kicked out if Britain shuts down RT, a channel launched in 2005 and financed by the Russian state to project what it says is a Russian viewpoint on major global events.

... snip

Russian officials say RT is a way for Moscow to compete with the dominance of global media companies based in the United States and Britain, which they say offer a particular view of the world.

Fox News admits it's allowing Russian control of its content.

If Hannity's overt KremlinLuv wasn't enough, here Fox News admits it's allowing Russian control of its content.

Baltic translations for Fox TV undergo Russian censorship

The original content of Fox TV channel is translated for Baltic audiences along guidelines that have been developed in Russia and require glossing over certain topics seen as sensitive by Russian censors.

The Latvian National Electronic Mass Media Council (NEPLP) has been informed about this but does not see a reason to intervene in this situation.

NEPLP spokesman Kalvis Gavars told LETA that Fox is a TV channel in Spain’s jurisdiction and its programs are rebroadcast in Latvia’s territory, which means that the translation issues have to be dealt with between the holder of the programs’ rights and the translators, while the quality of the translations is outside the National Electronic Mass Media Council’s area of competence.

According to a letter to the translators of Fox programs which has been obtained by LETA, the translators have to follow Russian subtitling guidelines requiring glossing over or “softening content” concerning accidents, homosexual relationships, “anti-Russian propaganda”, narcotics, extremist activities and suicides.

For instance, the translators are instructed to “soften” all negative language about the Russian military and space program, policies of the Russian president and government, while positive texts about same-sex relationships have to be made more generalized so they could be attributed to relationships of any kind.

Authors of the letter admit that such an approach to translation cannot be consider good practice but that Fox content comes to the Baltic states through Russia which is why the subtitles have to be in line with the Russian law.

A juicy nugget from a Cohen article. Remember Stephanie Wolkoff? She was the party planner & Melania

A little nugget from our Cohen piece. Remember Stephanie Wolkoff? She was the party planner and Melania friend who somehow got $26 million for the inauguration. Well, turns out Cohen and Wolkoff also worked together years ago.

The Company Michael Cohen Kept — “Trump, Inc.” Podcast

Long before Donald Trump’s attorney paid Stormy Daniels or had his office raided by the FBI, a pattern was established: The associates of Michael Cohen have often been disciplined, disbarred, accused or convicted of crimes.

It's over except for the tears, the jail-time, and some mysterious deaths nobody will want to seriously investigate.
