So bottom line, the decision was made to throw Gen Milley

under the bus? "No recollection of his recommendation to leave some troops" via Psaki..

Not quite sure what would have been wrong with saying that people close to me advised otherwise, but then I was advised that it wouldn't make any difference in the ultimate outcome, I decided to move forward and get the hell out of there to save lives. Or is that too nuanced?

Just strikes me as that you wouldn't want a general to have to testify that they didn't warn?

The downside, I reckon you would be called a bad decision maker? On the upside, you wouldn't have someone pretty much insinuating you're a liar.

If you want to fall in love all over again with your partner

Watch alone, Wedding Singer.

I know this sounds crazy -- I've half seen this movie a number of times and it never had much of any impact on me. But the chemistry and the story are actually quite compelling and it got 91% viewer approval on IMDB.

The soundtrack is ootw

Anyone really into key lime pie? Looking for an authentic recipe

Without sweetened condensed milk? I used to make it quite often the typical way using that milk. And we made it again and could hardly even finish a tiny slice. It was so thick and cloying. So I'm thinking it's the milk.

I've had it many many times in restaurants in Florida.. It tastes nothing like this. Most often they are very light almost fluffy. I want to make that. I've got a whole bag of key limes and graham crackers to make crust all I need is a recipe

From a Florida restaurant...

I ❤️ NY

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Wearing masks on buses and subway trains has already been the rule for months now, but too many people still aren’t following it, and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority says its warning period is over.

Safety on the subway is always top of mind, and now it’s not just about protecting passengers from crime but from COVID.

To halt unnecessary health risks and keep precautions on track, the MTA is urgently warning refusing to cover your face will cost you $50.

Anyone ever used Turo for car sharing?

Going to Sarasota next month and regular car rental prices are through the roof. Like $700 a week for a tiny compact car.

Turo.com popped up and it's local people I assume that own cars and rent them out to people. Supposedly they deliver it to you give you the keys and then are there to pick it up when you want to drop it off. Each will tell you how many trips the car took what year is etc etc.

Seems so much more reasonable but of course afraid to take a chance

So finally paid the ransom to Photobucket to get my old pics

Remember entering this picture, topic was "reflections" I think, because I thought everyone would be impressed with the connection between a skeleton in a store window and a reflection of a hungover guy in the background. Nope LOL. Think I only got one vote and that was mine

Fun to see old pictures though.

Seriously, how could Mike Pence winning the nomination not be a gift from heaven for us?

First of all, the sheer numbers. Can't imagine a single person who voted for Biden voting for Pence. He allowed a lunatic to get away with what he did. That's more than half the voters right off the bat.

Does he think because he followed the Constitution on 1/6 that we should thank him forever for that? It's like thanking someone for not pulling the plug on your ventilator in the hospital.

Secondly, people wanted to hang him! Let that sink in. They left a note on his desk that Justice was coming! His pal trump dissed him. Lindsay Graham asked trump to mend bridges with Pence and trump said " no way". In a million years, can't ever see trump backing him. How could he, given his his ego.

So that's all voters, less trump lovers, less Dems and Indies who voted for Biden. Who the hell is left?

Mike Pence needs to get someone to check his IQ

I'm not sure that I agree, I think the unity that happened after 9/11

was organic. I don't think we realized at that point it was important it just happened. Such a horrific thing hadn't happened to us in recent years. Perhaps since world war II? The unity was instinctual. Can't manufacture it. And the world was with us.. until Bush started a war.

But that was 20 years ago. Now Trump & GOP has ruined it all.
