Matthew 25:40 When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' 40"The King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me
A San Francisco Catholic church has reportedly installed a watering system that discourages homeless people by drenching them as they sleep.
Cathedral staff confirmed that the system had been in place for about a year, and that it was intended to discourage homeless people from seeking shelter in the churchs doorway.
We do the best we can, and supporting the dignity of each person, Archdiocese spokesperson Chris Lyford said. But there is only so much you can do.

Scott Walker: 'If I can take on 100,000 protesters, I can do the same across the world' Read more:
Wow! This guy is dangerous............
Speaking to the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington D.C. Thursday, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker once again pointed to his experience battling Wisconsin's public sector unions in 2011 as an indication of how tough he would be when dealing with terrorists.
"If I can take on 100,000 protesters, I can do the same across the world," Walker said in a speech to what has been described as a "rowdy" crowd of conservative activists and politicians.
"I want a commander-in-chief who will do everything in their power to ensure that the threat from radical Islamic terrorists do not wash up on American soil," Walker said just prior to equating his controversial legislation that effectively ended collective bargaining rights for public employees to international conflicts.

Julian Assange appeals to Sweden's supreme court over arrest warrant
Source: The Guardian
Julian Assange is taking his appeal to Swedens highest court in a final attempt to persuade a Swedish judge that the arrest warrant against him should be lifted.
His lawyers will ask Swedens supreme court on Wednesday to agree that the severe limitations on Assanges freedoms since he claimed asylum in the Ecuadorian embassy in London in 2012 to escape extradition to Sweden are unreasonable and disproportionate to the case.
In August 2010, the WikiLeaks founder and campaigning journalist was accused by two women of rape and sexual molestation, but he has not been charged because the prosecutor insists she is unable to interview him about the allegations.
Prosecutor Marianne Ny has declined invitations by Assange to do so in London, where he has taken refuge in the embassy to avoid a perceived threat of extradition to the US for publishing military secrets. Assange denies all the charges.

United Nations Calls for an End to Industrialized Farming
http://www.truth-out.org/opinion/item/27636-united-nations-calls-for-an-end-to-industrialized-farming#
In 2013, the United Nations announced that the world's agricultural needs can be met with localized organic farms. That's right, we do not need giant monocultures that pour, spray and coat our produce with massive amounts of poisons, only to create mutant pests and weeds while decimating pollinators and harming human health. Don't believe the hype: We do not need genetically modified foods "to feed the world."
From my experience, many of these - how shall we say it - "worker bees" (i.e the GMO salesmen) who spread this propaganda, actually believe conventional tactics are necessary to ensure food security. They've drunk the Kool-Aid and cannot envision another possibility. The changes threaten their very existence
Scott Walker: Denying health care to low-income people helps them 'Live the American Dream'
Defending his fellow Republican governors decision to block Medicaid expansion in their states, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) on Friday suggested that denying health coverage to additional low-income Americans helps more people live the American Dream because they wont be dependent on the American government.
Walker has recently leveled some criticism at other GOP leaders for accepting Obamacares optional Medicaid expansion, saying they shouldnt necessarily trust the government to come through with the federal funds to cover the policy. During an appearance on MSNBCs Morning Joe on Friday, Walker was asked whether his position stemmed from an ideological criticism, and if he believes the handful of Republican governors implementing this provision of the health law are not genuine conservatives.

And people voted for this guy? And we also voted to accept the medicaid money?

World War II vet, 90, vows to continue fight to feed homeless amid Florida city ban
The 90-year-old Florida man who continues to break a new state law by feeding the homeless has become the catalyst for heated conversations between local government officials and charity organizations.
Fort Lauderdale Mayor Jack Seiler alluded to the national attention that World War II veteran Arnold Abbott has brought to the city after the elderly man was twice issued citations in the same week in October for staging makeshift feeding stations for those in need. The two debated the controversial homeless feeding ordinance on local television Nov. 9.
Seiler said the new laws, which prohibit camping, panhandling, food-sharing and other life-sustaining activities, are in fact meant to provide the homeless with safe, secure and sanitary conditions where they could seek help.
