Julian Assange vows to ‘stay inside Ecuador embassy’

A statement read outside the embassy by Susan Benn from the Julian Assange Defence Fund said: 'The issues faced by Mr Assange are serious. His life and liberty and the life and liberty of his organisation and those associated with it are at stake.

'The US Government has instigated a grand jury against Julian Assange and other ‘founders or managers’ of WikiLeaks. Australian diplomats have described this investigation as being of ‘unprecedented scale and nature’.

'There is irrefutable evidence in the public record of subpoenas being issued and witnesses being compelled to testify against Mr Assange.

'WikiLeaks, the ACLU, the Centre for Constitutional Rights and other groups have been fighting these subpoenas and other issues arising from the investigation in multiple US courts. US officials have said in open court that the FBI file about the investigation has now reached 42,135 pages.

Egypt’s New President Mohamed Morsi Has Called For New 9/11 Investigation

&feature=player_embedded#!

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/may/31/egyptian-candidate-doubts-al-qaeda-role-9-11/

Egypt’s likely next president has long called for the U.S. to hold a “scientific conference” to determine the real culprits of the Sept. 11 attacks, having cast doubt on al Qaeda’s role in 9/11 for years.

“The U.S. administration has never presented any evidences on the identity of those who committed that incident,” longtime Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed Morsi is quoted as saying in a 2007 posting on Ikhwanweb, the Islamist group’s official English website.

“The Muslim Brotherhood and others demanded a transparent trial with clear evidence and to have court rulings,” he said after the sixth anniversary of the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people. “We confirm that this isn’t a defense to those who committed these actions, but we only seek the truth.”

BREAKING: DWD Secretary Reggie Newson Orders Bad Job Numbers Hidden Until After Election (Wisconsin)

A source in the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) has revealed the DWD Secretary Reggie Newson has ordered staff not to discuss new and disappointing data on jobs in Wisconsin until after the June 5th election. Reggie Newson’s assistant, Laurel Steinmeyer, said that Newson was “traveling to Milwaukee” and was unavailable for comment, and would not comment herself. Asked directly for a comment, DWD spokesman John Dipko refused to answer and said he would follow up “later today.” He has not followed up, nor have any members of the DWD Media Relations Department returned any calls asking for comment.

BREAKING: Scott Walker Says Aide Indicted Was Doing What She Was Expected To Do

MADISON - In a rare moment of candor, Scott Walker yesterday admitted to reporters in Madison that his indicted former fundraiser and deputy chief of staff, Kelly Rindfleisch, “did the things she was expected to do.”

Previously revealed court documents show that Rindfleisch stated she was hired to Scott Walker’s administration for the purpose of doing policy work for Walker’s gubernatorial campaign, and that she took her assignments from another indicted Walker aide, Tim Russell.

While on taxpayer time, Rindfleisch sent or received more than 1,300 fundraising emails, including hundreds with Walker spokesman, Cullen Werwie, who has prosecutorial immunity for his testimony against Rindfleisch, and Brett Davis, Walker’s preferred Lt. Gov. candidate who currently serves as the state’s Medicaid director.

In addition to her extensive illegal fundraising, Rindfleisch exchanged more than 1,000 emails with Scott Walker’s campaign managers on taxpayer time.
