Republican Thugs - Since When Were Women Allowed To Vote? Edition

As Tom Barrett said in his victory speech last night “[W]e are united in knowing that we must work together to end Scott Walker’s ideological civil war.”.

In case you do not think there is and ideological civil war, here in WI, witness this lovely story of a Walker supporter in Chippewa Falls, WI.

A Chippewa Falls man who repeatedly tried to block his estranged wife from driving to the polls Tuesday was hospitalized with head, neck and back injuries when she struck him with her sport utility vehicle.
Jeffrey Radle, a Gov. Scott Walker supporter, was on foot.
Amanda Radle, a recall proponent, was in a Dodge Durango.
The pair had been arguing early Tuesday afternoon over who she was going to vote for in the gubernatorial recall election primary, said Chippewa Falls Police Chief Wendy L. Stelter.
"She was planning on voting for a certain candidate, and it wasn't the candidate he wanted her to vote for," Stelter said.
When Amanda Radle, 30, attempted to pull out, Jeffrey Radle, 36, stood in front of her, according to a police department statement. She nudged him with the vehicle several times.
Each time he would "retreat and re-establish his ground," the release said. "At one point he climbed onto the hood."
When she finally attempted to drive around him, Jeffrey Radle jumped in front of the vehicle and was hit. Aman da Radle left the scene and went to the police department to report the incident, the release said.

Line up ladies - Jeffrey Radle is now single! I wonder if he has the same interests as Robin Vos ? The way that Radle treats his wife, I wonder if he is related to David Prosser?

The point is this kind of behavior used to be saved for Packer losses only in our great state but now its is a common occurrence (see my republican thugs series) with the prevailing theme being the republicans get upset if anyone disagrees with them, they throw fits and rants and threaten violence, then call the liberals "crazy" . This really started the day that Governor Walker "dropped the bomb". From that moment on the Walker administration, and their lap dogs in the assembly, let it be known that there would be absolutely no negotiating with the democrats....who cares that they represent half of the state. The democrats were not even treated as normal human beings or peers. If their republican "leaders&quot term used loosely), act like this, what do they think would happen with their most fervent supporters? Why they would act exactly like Jeffrey Radle of course.

At least this story has a punch line, Radle's joke of a brother Mike.

"These crazy liberal nuts are always pulling this crap," said Radle's brother, Mike Radle, describing himself and his brother as firm supporters of Walker, the subject of the recall.

Ummm Mike.......nevermind!

Occupy Wall St - The Revolution Is Love

A taste of the upcoming feature documentary, Occupy Love. This is a community funded film. http://www.occupylove.org "Love is the felt experience of connection to another being. An economist says 'more for you is less for me.' But the lover knows that more of you is more for me too. If you love somebody their happiness is your happiness. Their pain is your pain. Your sense of self expands to include other beings. This shift of consciousness is universal in everybody, 99% and 1%." ~ Charles Eisenstein

Seconds From Disaster - S03E03 - Russia's Nuclear Sub Nightmare

On 12 August 2000, the Russian Oscar II class submarine Kursk sank in the Barents Sea after an explosion. The investigation showed that a leak of hydrogen peroxide in a torpedo led to explosion of its fuel, causing the submarine to hit the bottom which in turn triggered the detonation of further torpedo warheads about two minutes later. This second explosion was equivalent to about 2-3 tonnes of TNT, large enough to register on seismographs across Northern Europe.

Despite a rescue attempt by British and Norwegian teams, which was severely delayed due to the Russians refusing them access, all 118 sailors and officers aboard Kursk died. The next year, a Dutch team recovered the wreckage and all of the bodies, which were buried in Russia.

Very interesting Documentary!

McCarthyism Leads To Death Threats

Because the right wing nut jobs can't handle the fact that they can't control the people of Wisconsin, they resorted to attempting to intimidate people, including myself, with the rise of a new sort of McCarthyism.

Media Trackers, the propagandists for the Bradley Foundation and the Koch Brothers, took this McCarthyism to new heights, or to be more accurate, to new lows, by trying to demonize anyone who exercised their constitutional right of signing a recall petition.

This wave of McCarthyism was enough to prove that the end of all credibility for the mainstream media. And what the McCarthyism didn't kill, their hypocrisy finished off.

Sadly, the predictable end result of this irresponsible behavior, fascism, has now been realized, as the right wing nut jobs have taken to issuing death threats because people stood up for Wisconsin (spelling errors theirs):

Lammers adivsed that at approximately 1:21 pm, she received an incoming phone call from an anonymous male caller. Lammers stated that the suspect started the conversation by complaining about Rob Starbuck signing the "Recall Governor Scott Walker" petition. While the suspect indulged in his verbal tirade, Lammers stated that the suspect stated, "he should be wearing a bullet proof vest, better yet he should be wearing it on his head," referring to Starbuck.

Lammers express that the suspect articulated that the reason Starbuck should wear a vest was because he was going to "shoot him his head." Upon the suspect making the statement, Lammers stated that he had disconnected from the phone conversation. Lammers advised that she was disturbed by 40 second phone conversation, and forward the information to her supervisor Colin Benedict.

Sadly, this is becoming the norm for too many people on the right as the panic sets in that Walker is in serious trouble, both from the recall and from Walkergate. They see that their grand schemes of ruling over the state and the country slipping away and this is their way of giving themselves a sense of control.

I hope they catch the bastard that made the phone call and hold him accountable for it.
