Spanish Police Crack Down on Protesters Surrounding the Parliament

Anti-austerity rage intensified in Madrid, as protesters surrounded the parliament Tuesday night in a sign of mounting frustration towards the right-wing government. Their demands included the resignation of top officials with new elections, the halt to austerity measures, and the rewriting of the Spanish Constitution. The protesters charged the government with theft and criminal activity for implementing harsh austerity measures, hiking taxes, record unemployment and allowing mass evictions of unemployed families on a daily basis.

As thousands converged outside the gates of parliament, hundreds of police clashed with protesters, detaining and beating many. Organizers of the action were harassed and intimidated by the police weeks before September 25th. Activists were detained, assembly meetings broken up and a cultural center was raided and shut down.

The Spanish government, with help of the mainstream media, hyped the event as a possible coup d'etate

Or that the event didn't happen. But I AM telling you that the official story is a fairy-tale the physics doesn't add up expert demo' men and physicists, pilots and military men are all saying the SAME thing. The official story has gaping big holes in it. The Towers were DEMOLISHED. We have been LIED to and a WAR has been waged on the basis of these LIES. On Solemn Anniversary, Dick Cheney Attacks Obama Over Bin Laden

Former Vice President Dick Cheney is once again attacking President Barack Obama’s national security record, this time on the 11th anniversary of the devastating terrorist attacks that took place on the Bush Administration’s watch.

Through a spokeswoman, Cheney told conservative website The Daily Caller that “If President Obama were participating in his intelligence briefings on a regular basis then perhaps he would understand why people are so offended at his efforts to take sole credit for the killing of Osama bin Laden.”

“Those who deserve the credit are the men and women in our military and intelligence communities who worked for many years to track him down,” he continued. “They are the ones who deserve the thanks of a grateful nation.”

As usual, in his rush to attack the president, Cheney skipped over the key facts. Obama has never claimed “sole credit” for the killing of bin Laden; as Media Matters for America points out, he has repeatedly thanked and praised the troops and intelligence officers who made the raid possible.

Breaking.... Hacker Group Claims To Have Romney's Tax Returns

Mitt Romney’s tax returns are reportedly in the hands of a team of hackers who plan on releasing them publicly at the end of the month unless a ransom is paid.

The group allegedly obtained the files from PricewaterhouseCooper’s Tennessee office on Aug. 25, in what was described on PasteBin as a Mission Impossible-like caper:

Romney’s 1040 tax returns were taken from the PWC office 8/25/2012 by gaining access to the third floor via a gentleman working on the 3rd floor of the building. Once on the 3rd floor, the team moved down the stairs to the 2nd floor and setup shop in an empty office room. During the night, suite 260 was entered, and all available 1040 tax forms for Romney were copied. A package was sent to the PWC on suite 260 with a flash drive containing a copy of the 1040 files, plus copies were sent to the Democratic office in the county and copies were sent to the GOP office in the county at the beginning of the week also containing flash drives with copies of Romney’s tax returns before 2010. A scanned signature image for Mitt Romney from the 1040 forms were scanned and included with the packages, taken from earlier 1040 tax forms gathered and stored on the flash drives.

The files are to be released to the public on Sept. 28, according to the PasteBin document.
