They are such beautiful people. So talented. Strong activist progressives! They have brought so much light and fun into my life. I know it's silly of me. I'm a 65 year old privileged rural white woman. And I love them.
And my heart aches.
This is an older song of his. Prescient.
So many great Dem women candidates
who are ex-military! DJ Hegarty (TX), Amy McGrath (KY). Who am I missing?!
Seen this latest from Lincoln Project?
Wow.

Feels like we are about to learn a big lesson about
karma, right now.
Not karma in the sense of some mysterious, unknowable, all-controlling force evening things out. No. Even better.
The karma that says if you lie, cheat, treat people badly, the backlash is inevitable. People finally figure it out, and you will pay. With your dignity, self-respect, reputation. Whatever shreds of civilization or humanity you hold dear.
That eventually, all people wake up. Well, almost all. The scales fall from their eyes, and they see clearly - most, anyway - the truth.
People are convinceable, malleable, subject to their own vanities, insecurities, and petty motives. It's not so hard to lie and poke, for awhile.
But time after time, story after story, tells of the ultimate consequences of such behavior It can take awhile. A long, long time. America still has schools named after Robert E. Lee. Drumpf made it into the White House. Is still there.
It feels like there's a reconciling afoot. Reconciling with the truth of who America is, that they have hidden from us. But we see you.
This grotesque display that is before us the final 3 weeks of this election cycle is a reminder that we are always capable of backsliding. Progress takes effort. But we are up to it.
This is because
there are Black women at the top of both campaigns: Karine at Kamala's; Symone at Biden's!!!
