MOUNT HOPE A young woman whose "motherly instincts kicked in" stopped a man who was slashing his son with a sharp object Saturday during a wild assault at Mount Hope Cemetery in San Diego.
Police said that Joseph Ramirez, 30, of San Diego took three of his children to the cemetery on Market Street just before 4:30 p.m. and starting slicing the forearms of his 8-year-old son. Ramirez reportedly had been hearing the voice of his dead grandmother in his head.

Pires said Ramirez kept saying, "We're going to Jesus, we're going to Jesus." But Ramirez finally shoved the boy aside and ran. Granberry grabbed the boy and the two other Ramirez children. One was a toddler. The other appeared to be about 3. Granberry wrapped a T-shirt around one of the arms of the boy, who was bleeding badly.
Ramirez was tackled by Dana Fontenot, a 60-year-old security guard from Able Patrol and Guard who was on his third day of working at Mount Hope.

The Bin Laden Cover-Up: Pentagon Scrubs Documents to Hide Truth About Tracking bin Laden
Whistleblower says he was told to stop tracking Bin Laden and suspected al-Qaeda terrorists in the months prior to 9/11.
Senior Pentagon officials scrubbed key details about a top-secret military intelligence unit's efforts in tracking Osama bin Laden and suspected al-Qaeda terrorists from official reports they prepared for a Congressional committee probing the 9/11 terrorist attacks, new documents obtained by Truthout reveal.
Moreover, in what appears to be an attempt to cover up the military unit's intelligence work, a September 2008 Defense Department (DoD) Inspector General's (IG) report that probed complaints lodged by the former deputy chief of the military unit in question, the Asymmetrical Threats Division of Joint Forces Intelligence Command (JFIC), also known as DO5, about the crucial information withheld from Congress, claimed "the tracking of Usama Bin Ladin did not fall within JFIC's mission."
But the IG's assertion is untrue, according to the documents obtained by Truthout, undercutting the official narrative about who knew what and when in the months leading up to 9/11.
Much of JFIC's work on al-Qaeda and Bin Laden remains shrouded in secrecy and has not been cited in media reports revolving around pre-9/11 intelligence, which has focused heavily over the past decade on CIA and FBI "intelligence failures." Only a few details about the military intelligence unit have surfaced since then, notably in two previous reports published recently by Truthout.

Musician Dingey Fingus reworks 'Girl with the Curious Hand' for Elizabeth Warren
BOSTON - The self-proclaimed apolitical Boston musician Dingey Fingus, whose 1980s music video "The Girl with the Curious Hand" featured Republican Sen. Scott Brown's wife Gail Huff, is reworking the tune for Democratic rival Elizabeth Warren.
The Boston Herald reported that Fingus is playing the remix, called The Girl with a Serious Plan, at a fundraiser for Warren this Sunday.
Im really apolitical, to tell you the truth, Fignus said in the Herald. I look at the candidate. And Elizabeth has a strong background in education, shes intelligent and I like her stand against Wall Street greed. Republicans have a systematic program of working against policies that would work for the country.
The original music video, which starred Brown's wife when she was 19, resurfaced from the vault of 1980s music videos during his special election run against Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley in 2010, following the death of Sen. Edward Kennedy.

Elizabeth Warren has a Serious Plan
Scott Browns wife, Gail Huff was in a music video back in the 80?s, for a song called The Girl with the Curious Hand. Digney Fignus who sang and authored the song has re-written it for Elizabeth Warren The Girl with a Serious Plan and will debut it at a Warren fundraiser Sunday. He shared a preview of the song:
Down in old D.C., where they make policy
We need her, we need her, we need her, the new nominee
Fighting corporate greed, the tough economy,
Shes everything the country needs,
Shes the girl with the serious plan

Scott Brown’s income skyrocketed after Senate election
Browns income skyrocketed after Senate election
The family income for U.S. Sen. Scott Brown has skyrocketed in the two years since he took office, rising from roughly $300,000 to $839,000 in 2010 and $510,000 this year, according to six years of federal and state income tax returns released by his campaign..
The recent rise in income was largely thanks to the advance and sales for Browns best-selling memoir, Against All Odds, which he penned after his election.
Brown and his wife, television anchor Gail Huff, together earned $2,565,660 for 2006 through 2011. Last year, they contributed $16,487 to charity, or 3.2 percent of their income.
Brown took a $1,401 deduction for TV makeup and grooming in 2011 as part of a $6,901 tax deduction for varied expenses which included $1,268 for book promotions and photos and $716 for gifts. His deductions include $2,275 for entertainment in 2009 and $225 for recording devices in 2010.
<snip>
Brown, who urged Warren to be more transparent, refused to allow copies of the tax information to leave the office and instead required reporters to review his tax returns at his headquarters and take notes. The campaign did not allow tax attorneys to come in and view the returns.

Adam Kind, ‘Castle Doctrine’ Killer of Bo Morrison Caught Saying ‘F*cken N*gger’ Right After Murder
Adam Kind, Castle Doctrine Killer of Bo Morrison Caught Saying F*cken N*gger Right After Murder
The date was March 3, 2012 in the wee hours of the morning. The town was Slinger, a small town, almost all Caucasian. A group of people gathered to have drinks and share stories, celebrating the life of a friend they had recently lost. In that group was Bo Morrison, 20 years old. Bo was well liked by many, he had high hopes for the world. Bo believed, as I have heard so many times from people who were close to him, that he could help change the world, that everyone could. He has been said to have been in the process of joining the Marines and he was a college graduate in Carpentry. He was a soft, gentle man, a cuddler as many of his friends have said and as is evident looking through his Facebook profile. Bo was under 21 and when the police came to break up the party. He hid on the neighbors porch.
The media seems to highlight the fact that he was drinking underage and hiding from police. But this all becomes irrelevant quick as the story continues. The truly relevant portions are enough to sicken even the tamest of souls. Adam Kind, the neighbor had previously gone to confront the party goers. He banged on their window and yelled to turn the music down. He left his doors unlocked for this. Another fact that the media seems to ignore is that he is reported to have told the people in the car Youre gonna pay or something to that effect. He went back home and later in the night was called by police. They stated there was a party but that all should be good and it had been broken up. The police remained right across the street as, in less than five minutes, he went to bed, talked to his wife, got his gun from a case in the closet, loaded it, checked the front, checked the kitchen, went into the porch, confronted Bo Morrison, and shot him dead.
The timeline alone doesnt make sense and I am in the middle of compiling a story with even more inconsistencies. Despite all of this, the highly partisan and clearly incompetent Washington County DA continues to stall justice and insist that this was self defense and Castle Doctrine despite the fact that Bo was not armed and self-defense REQUIRES equal or lesser force. He continues to spit on the family and name of transparency, refusing to release tapes from the officers car (who called Adam Kind from his car before the killing) and until almost two months later, refused to release the unedited 911 call. Finally the call was released. But what was hidden speaks volumes as to the extent the DA is willing to go to sweep this case under the rug.
Originally, the call was edited and today one of the portions edited out is released.
Heres the audio, which I have tweaked the audio so you can hear better but need to listen close:

Veteran Suffers Humiliation At VA Hospital: Congressman Steve Womack (R) Shows Little Concern
US Navy Veteran Suffers Humiliation At VA Hospital: His Representative, Congressman Steve Womack (R) Shows Little Concern
<snip>
After all of this the Carters did not know who to turn to. They knew they had been done wrong but didnt know how to remedy the problem so they began to write to various members of congress for assistance and specifically their own US Representative, Steve Womack. After all isnt the job of our representatives in Washington DC to represent our interests as it pertains to US Government?
Recently I posted on www.theprogressivecop.com a page long response from Representative Womack in response to The Progressive Cop contributing writer Innocence Jadeds request that Womack denounce Rush Limbaugh over the Sandra Fluke comments. In sharp contrast to that response about an issue that affects Womacks constituents indirectly at best, the Carters received a simple six line response in which Womack politely tells them he cant do anything for them.
After receiving no help from Congressman Womack, Lynn began trying to call the offices of both Representative Womack and Senator Mark Pryor but was unable to speak with either of them. He eventually wrote a very blunt letter to both of them asking why they refused to answer his phone calls. Lynn had some very simple requests, among them was to know why his complaint was not further investigated.
Lynn goes on in his fiery letter to the Congressmen, to say that his grandson could have gotten better results. Reflecting on the letter to Congressman Womack seeking condemnation of Rush Limbaugh and the prompt and lengthy response we received compared to the response given Lynns complaint, I would agree that Mr. Carters grandson could have gotten better results from Mr. Womack.
