My heart just can't take it.

It has become the new normal w/the same kind of people who are there to
respond and help friends and families get through with this horror show, the
reporters asking and talking about the same things, and in the end nothing will
get done and so we can wait for this "new normal" to happen again.

We went 2 whole days since the last mass shooting in our 2nd amendment land of freedom.
I have hunted and owned a few guns for years and if the government wanted them and it
would lead to some kind of solution I would be fine with giving them up. 2 20 gauge pump
shotguns, 1 bolt action .22, and an old 30-30 rifle.

The shooter who opened fire indiscriminately in a Virginia Beach city building Friday afternoon, killing at least 11 people and sending six others to the hospital, was a disgruntled employee, a Virginia government source briefed on the investigation told CNN.

The shooter died after a gunfight with police.

Police Chief James Cervera told reporters Friday night the gunman was a public utilities worker.

"This is the most devastating day in the history of Virginia Beach," said Mayor Bobby Dyer. "The people involved are our friends, coworkers, neighbor, colleagues."

4 shot in Cleveland, Texas, including sheriff's deputy

(CNN)A Liberty County sheriff's deputy and three other people were shot Wednesday at two locations in Cleveland, Texas, the county sheriff's office said. The incident started with a shooting at a plumbing company along Highway 321 in Cleveland, where deputies found a dead woman, said Capt. Ken DeFoor, a sheriff's spokesman. Two others were shot and their conditions are unknown. A deputy followed the suspect and, as he pulled into a veterinary clinic parking lot down the road, gunshots were exchanged, DeFoor said. The deputy was shot in the neck and was life-flighted to a hospital in Houston in stable condition.
