A water beetle swallowed alive by a frog escapes through the butt Science News

About two hours before this video begins, this pond frog (Pelophylax nigromaculatus) ate a water beetle (Regimbartia attenuate). After traversing the digestive tract of the frog, the beetle emerges from the back end of the frog, alive. Itís the first documented example of prey actively escaping a predator through the digestive system.

America is now that water beetle and we are trying to get out of Trumpís asshole Ö. btw which is much harder because he wears diapers.

This AM we have the Madness of King Donny ..... none of what he tweets out is true.

Simple Rant

We would not be going through this shit if Hillary Clinton had not had the Presidenceney stolen from her and the
American people by Russia and their Republican collaborators.

How to TikTok AKA Sarah Cooper lives in Trump's Head

How many doses of hydroxcholorquine are Trump and ...

.... Kush-turd holding? I might be wrong for the first time in my life but I think Trump and Kushner bought a whole shit load of it in late 2019 & early 2020 and with a defeat looming they are trying to unload it. The word has gone out in the right wing world, push that HCQ shit.

The new meme is that people don't want "it" out because it works and that is good for Trump and so the liberals are stopping HCQ.

Columbus, OH (Clintonville): "The Beast" is here. This is a note from a nice little local eatery.

They opened back up about a month and 1/2 ago with very limited hours and all the safety they could do too. I would go there and eat outside about every other week. My son is in town and I was gonna take him there this AM. But this was on their home web page
this morning.

Friends of BLunch

We are temporally closing out of an abundance of caution.

We had more than one employee test positive for the virus.

We are delaying re-opening until we have everybody's test results.

We are scheduled to re-open Friday, July, 31st for carry out only and we hope to resume dining room service
on Saturday, August 1st.

When we do re-open, we will do so following the guidance of ODH and the CDC.

Take care and thank you for your support.

Help please on C-19 #s

It took something like 95 days to reach the 1st million cases
and 45 days to reach 2 million and ? # of days to reach 3
million and now it was something like 14 days to hit 4 million

If you have the exact #s can you post them?

Now that we know that Barr/Trump are using mercenaries* in their federal goon squads is it ...

... much of stretch to think that some of the violence, destruction of property, and clashes with
law enforcement are being caused by paid agent provocateurs?

Trump throws wrench into coronavirus bill negotiations with Senate Republicans

Source: NBC

WASHINGTON ó President Donald Trump is throwing a big wrench into negotiations between the White House and Senate Republicans over the next coronavirus relief bill by demanding a payroll tax cut be included and funding for testing be reduced or cut completely.

Leaving meetings on Capitol Hill Monday night, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said that the payroll tax cut is in the yet-to-be released bill despite Republican senators saying they donít think itís good policy.

ďNot a fan of that, Iíve made that pretty clear,Ē Sen. John Thune of South Dakota, the second-ranking Republican in the Senate, said of the payroll tax cut proposal. ďI donít think itís something that changes anyoneís behavior and has trust fund implications. I just think there are better ways to do it.Ē

Republican senators also denounced any attempt by the White House to cut funding for coronavirus testing.

ďMy view is, we should do whatever we need to do to make sure we have adequate tests,Ē Republican Sen. Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, chairman of the Health Committee, said. ďAll roads to open school, opening, going back to work, child care, lead through testing.

We have fallen into some kind of hell hole. No testing means the disease will spread and if you don't
have a job then you don't have paycheck and so a payroll tax cut is meaningless.

85 babies under 1 year old in Nueces County (TX) have tested positive for COVID-19 since mid-March

Eighty-five infants who are under the age of 1 have tested positive for the coronavirus in Nueces County since testing began there in March, county officials confirmed this weekend.

The county, which includes Corpus Christi, has become emblematic of the recent surge of coronavirus cases in the state. When the pandemic first started ravaging the state, Nueces County stayed relatively healthy while the Amarillo region suffered.

One child under 1 has died in Nueces County after contracting the virus, but county officials say the child was "brought to the hospital with unrelated symptoms and tested for COVID-19 while at the hospital." The child later died at home, and an autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause of death.

"Nueces County has been aggressive in testing the family members of those infected, especially those who work or live in high-risk situations: senior care centers, jails, group homes and halfway houses, and meatpacking plants," Nueces County Judge Barbara Canales said in a statement on Saturday. "By contact tracing and testing the immediate family members for those with known exposure who work in high-risk critical infrastructure jobs, this may account for our higher degree of testing and positive test results among infants."

So by all means send the kids back to school because Trump said that most all kids who get "it"
don't get sick and or get over in one day.
