I was channel surfing and happened to catch this Rep. telling people something like getting
the disease is better for you then getting the vaccine because the antibodies you get from
having the disease are "better" then the antibodies you get from the vaccine*. Half baked
shit like this has and will keep getting people sick and or killed. Have they no shame?
I had never had heard of this clown before but according to Wiki he was on of 22 Congressional
Republicans who voted against giving gold medals to the Capitol Police for their work on 1/6/21.

Coronavirus antibodies have been found in wild white-tailed deer in the U.S. states of Michigan, Illinois, New York, and Pennsylvania, National Geographic reports. Researchers with the U.S. Department of Agriculture tested 385 deer between January and March and detected antibodies in 40%, the team reports in a preprint posted to bioRxiv late last month. Deer are now the second species, after mink, found to have contracted the pandemic coronavirus in the wild. (Dogs and cats have contracted the virus in household settings, and other species have experienced outbreaks in zoos.) Although there is no evidence that humans are at risk of catching COVID-19 from the animals, these findings indicate deer and other wildlife might act as a reservoir for the virus, potentially letting it circulate and evolve, even if it is controlled in the human population.

From birth, many learned to revere Pastors and others in authority. These characters too often failed to see that responsibility comes with substantial power. And that power can be used for good or evil. And it is clear that a large plurality of the Evangelical movement has made the conscious choice to choose the latter.
This pastor told his congregation that the COVID Delta variant was a hoax. Worse, he told them he would kick them out of the church if they wore masks and urged them to go to another church if they wanted social distancing or masks.

Much of that money was raised through a sketchy recurring donation feature that’s been accused of scamming elderly people into making large donations. The money was collected through WinRed, the party’s preferred fundraising medium, beating every other Republican on the platform. In comparison, Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), the next top fundraiser, raised $7.8 million online.
