im sure this has been said but

I’m home alone tonight and no one to rant to. Every time I see a tweet of “thoughts and prayers” I think is our gun policy in the US? It doesn’t seem to work. Obama gave an impassioned speech after ever mass shooting but all we hear from the Republicans is this is not to the time to talk about it just “thoughts and prayers” which follows “too soon.” I just feel hopeless and angry and sad”
