I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Love to live in a country where people have to be bribed with donuts to get a life-saving vaccine and told not to eat bugs off the ground

So a few weeks ago I ordered some Asiatic lily bulbs, which I've never grown before.
They look to be in good shape and are starting to sprout. When I looked up how to plant them I learned that they should be planted in the fall. I don't think they can wait that long.
If I plant now, what are my chances of them surviving? I don't expect any flowers this year.
I am really enjoying this sense of freedom that the Covid vaccine has given me.
After spending nearly a year in semi-isolation, skipping Thanksgiving, Christmas and other traditional family gatherings, we are nearly all fully vaccinated. I have spent 4 out of the last 5 weekends away from home visiting family and friends who are also fully vaccinated. It has been wonderful just sitting around and talking, drinking wine, preparing meals together and listening to music without worry. By next month another family group will be fully vaccinated and we're all going camping.
I haven't entirely thrown caution to the wind. I still wear a mask on public transportation and anywhere it's requested. I wore a mask last week when I got my hair cut. I haven't been in a large store yet, but I will wear a mask then, as well as any other crowded indoor facility. The vaccination rate is slow in Arkansas with only 30% fully vaccinated right now, so I don't feel like completely shedding the mask just yet.
This is pretty amazing.

I have discovered the most interesting vlog on YouTube. It's country life in Azerbaijan.
It shows different methods of cooking, mostly outdoors over open fire. The farm animals are running around and include chickens, sheep, a heifer calf and a dog. In this particular one they are picking and preserving cherries and cooking beef with dried vegetables.
Buckingham Palace Told A "Trump Train" Bus To Stop Using The Queen's Image
A Palace spokesperson told BuzzFeed News that they were aware of the fact that the Queen's image was being used, saying "representations asking for [the photo's] removal have been made."
The bus is owned and operated by a Trump supporter named Buddy Hall. According to its GoFundMe page, the Trump Train was created as an "unofficial campaign tour bus to support the 2020 reelection of President Trump."
Despite not being officially affiliated with any political candidate, the bus was a constant fixture at Trump campaign events during the 2020 election cycle. An image posted to the official Trump Train Facebook page shows Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, posing in front of the bus with Hall in July.
