Could all this horror and grief. All this violence and fear be because

Trump needs to shore up his white supremacist base and grow it to stave off impeachment from republicans? If he has a good part of their base captive, and thinking out of their most basic instincts, and growing, the Republicans can't impeach him without alienating the racist or racist-curious base of their party. Trump has stolen the Southern Strategy from Republicans. And is putting it on steroids. And it is tearing the country apart. It is a proxy war in the republican party with people of the country suffering while Trump and the Republicans bicker privately over the spoils of the country they garner from......those golden children.....those racists.

Dyslexics synthesize. They take threads from the past and make

predictions about the future. They see all these threads or narratives because they are multipolar and see things from different angles. Trump obviously, in these last few days, sees the punishment of his white supremacist base as a threat to him. So he acted out today. Who knows that threads he will be looking at next week. For one thing it is very scary that Trump empathize with white supremacists and doesn't hate them over needing their support (and even growing them). But that is the narcissist he is. Then again, owning the Nazi American vote may be the only power he holds over republicans who could otherwise impeach him. That may be why he wants to grow the number of white supremacist voters.

An epic Twitter thread that explains Trump and his insane press conference

"SNIP............

Unpopular President Donald Trump’s inability to even handle the simplest, and most obvious, of public relations problems over the past few days has brought back forward the stark reality—he’s a mental midget. Vox’s Dave Roberts put together a Twitter thread that is worth the read as it very articulately breaks down the clear mechanics of what we all saw today during that fiery bus crash that was Trump’s press conference.

Maybe the republicans are beginning to see that the alt right and Banon

faction are not interested in money. They like religious wars and nuclear testosterone contests and to subjugate people. Sadism does not make for millions of happy consumers around the world. Nationalism will not be good for business. It is anti globalism and anti trade. I hope they have made this realization and start putting pressure on Ryan and McConnel, and other republican Congress critters to stop rubber stamping and coddling Trump. It looks like they are just trying to get rid of Banon. That is what is going on. That is not a hopefull sign. Trump is a host who gets taken over by one faction or another. That is all he is. But that is typical of republican presidents in the last 45 years.

I think his thing is that he gets the right wing on and then dismantles

them for the most part. If you think of it doing the gish gallop is an admission that your argument can't win on its merits so you go with volume. I think it is needed that GOPer celebrities and politicians go somewhere and come face to face with comedy. If you think of it the right pretty much avoids comedy...as comedy punches through to truths in ways people remember and the right is all about lies. Al Franken is the only other comedian in 'mixed' company all the time and he is in the Senate. Reed revealed himself to be a complete partisan hack, not a religious leader. That said, I think Anderson Cooper got Kellyanne Conway to not gish. At least the last time i saw him interview her she wasn't raving. When she gets going on her gish she doesn't stop. At least ralph reed was a slow moving gish. Tomi Lahren gished Trever Noah and he could punch through but it is so apathy creating in the viewer. It is so exasperating. Saw a clip of Lahren debating with Chelsea Handler and it was very informative because they were having a discussion with no gish in the portion I saw. The public being informed should elevate the audience not diminish us. Maybe Democrats and MSM could make it a rule across platforms that no gish gallop is allowed? Of course that is the point of a gish: to demoralize your opponents and their audience. I wonder if fox news uses the gish gallop on their own audiences? Never seen Fox News so I don't know. That would be really telling if they don't gish their liberal guests at all because they didn't want to let the air out of their audience enthusiasm for politics.

Having children is the most climatically destructive thing you can do.

GOP think they are helping the planet by encouraging less government help around the world. I bet that is how they roll. They see themselves as on the right side. By encouraging fewer surviving offspring they must think they are doing more for the planet than climate scientists. That is why they log onto the DU during events like the ebola crisis and try and stop us empathizing. They seem to not get that with girlchild education and opportunities for poor women, the birthrate goes down to 1.7 children in any country in the world. Plus Kimberly Guilfoyle said it out lound: kill fossel fuel and there will be a massive transfer of wealth. She means from rich stockholders to middle class and working people due to the public being able to own or lease or store how power (free from the sky) is produced.

Like you said the idea of reading didn't exist until the last few hundred

years. Dyslexics still have advantages. Like in politics where Trump, both Bushes, Reagan, Kennedy, Eleanor Roosevelt, Churchill, Woodrow Wilson, Teddy Roosevelt, Al Gore, Ted Kennedy, Paul Wellstone were all dyslexic. So too science where Einstein, Darwin, Alexander Grahem Bell, Edison were all dyslexic. And in Business too. All things where dynamic reasoning would be a great benefit. And advantages to dyslexia are 3D thinking, interconnectedness, keeping narratives separate and dynamic reasoning. The 3D looking at things from all angles is why letters spin or rotate in some dyslexics. It is a side effect.

Dyslexia is a type of perception. The ability to think in 3D. 1/3 of MIT

and half of NASA are dyslexic. You are right dyslexia existed before writing. It was a scientific, political, business brain that small bands of humans relied on for the big picture and creativity and perception grounded in the concrete patterns and synthesis. I think the numbers of dyslexics are higher. 10% of the population. If you have a very high IQ and are dyslexic you are a genius. I am dyslexic and though no genius is I didn't spin my letters I just memorized words and their sound in two languages. I did not read using phonics at all. There was a view in psychology that everything different was an aberration instead of a potential evolutionary strategy. ADHD is found in hunter gatherer societies to make for excellent hunters as they get board easily and hunt for stimulation. The same with dyslexia. It was good for humans to have a little bit of it sprinkled through the population. Now we don't hunt, we farm, and we have academia to find and share patterns. But for hundreds of thousands of years these were very vital abilities to have in your little group of 100 hunting and gathereing humans.

He sussed out that there were a whole lotta bitter, angry white people

out there and played to them by being anti trade and anti immigration. I'm not saying he is always on top of things but at times he knows how to connect. Nobody else saw that rejection of both parties coming. Looking into a chaotic past to predict stuff about the future is dynamic reasoning. He uses that in business too. Lots of presidents and politicians were/are dyslexic.

July 28, 2017

I am dyslexic. I'm saying Trump is trying to play to his strengths which

is dynamic reasoning. Autistic have tiny mini columns close together in their brains and are good at details. Dyslexics have greater mini columns further apart in their brains and are better a patterns. People on the autism spectrum are good at analysis. Dyslexics are good at synthesis.
