Another overlooked form of abuse is Passive-Aggressive Behavior that seems to be everywhere.
We accept it because it's usually so understated that we don't see the danger signs until the additional damage is done.
This ... Passive-Aggressive Behavior can drive a wedge between us and any new support that we've managed to gather.
IMO: It's usually because the P-A is jealous, afraid to share our friendship, therefore the P-A becomes controlling.
Causing a downward spiral, toward the end ... leaving wreckage ... broken marriages ... lost friends ... damage beyond repair to us.
And_so_we_begin_again_to_rebuild_what_the_P-A_has_destroyed.
