Using president Biden's time

of 8:30 AM, EWT and locating it to the White House the chart has a West Point (an exact 90 degrees in real space from the MC) at 20°13' Gemini. Transiting Jupiter that day is at 20 degrees and some minutes of Gemini throughout the day. At 9 PM EST it will be at 20°04' Gemini. I have stated before that I think it is the nature of the planet making the aspect that determines the experience of it. Jupiter square MC is good.

Can Congress vote out Supreme Court justices?

What are grounds for impeachment of a Supreme Court justice?

That is a constitutional question which the Chair cannot pass upon, but should be passed upon by the House. Article II, section 4 of the U.S. Constitution defines the grounds for impeachment and conviction as ''treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.

If the Judicial Conference finds possible grounds for impeachment, it submits a report to the House of Representatives. Only Congress has the authority to remove an Article III judge. This is done through a vote of impeachment by the House and a trial and conviction by the Senate

The Constitution requires a two-thirds vote of the Senate to convict, and the penalty for an impeached official upon conviction is removal from office.

The next Congress and the Supreme Court - UPDATE

Going by the book, I think the earliest the Supreme Court may have more justices appointed by Democrats than by Republicans will be in January of 2025 after the 2024 elections when the Democratic party may have controlling numbers in both the House and Senate, and after the next congress is sworn in on or around January 3 2025 as per the Constitution wherein it is ordered that Congress convene at noon on January 3 in each odd numbered year, unless it has passed a law allowing for Congress to convene on a different day or time (20th Amendment, Section 2).

Can 2 be replaced before January 20, 2025?

Most of what follows can be found here:

https://www.supremecourt.gov/about/faq_general.aspx

The justice to administer the oath of office taken by the president elect is selected by the president, but must be approved by a majority of the Senate in session before assuming the office.

It is only custom for a president to be sworn in to office by the chief justice. If the next president elect were to be Biden or Harris they could select any justice other than Roberts to conduct the ceremony. Perhaps one of the female justices.

A Reminder of Why Every Vote Counts

Election Loser's Percentages

Most elections for president hinge on a small percentage of voters (less than 10%) voting for the winner instead of for the loser. NOTE: In original post I had winner and loser in the post reversed.

The history of winners and losers percentages in presidential elections shows that the voting division between political parties is quite small. In most elections the loser got 40% or more of the votes - not far from 51%.

Based on my original post of December 31, 2020.

Last edited Thu Dec 8, 2022, 12:37 am CST. Bolding of loser's percentage has been removed for this posting.

Data gathered from Dave Leips site.

Only 4 times since the American Civil War has the popular vote loser been elected president. In every case it was a Republican candidate that lost the popular vote but won election. (1876, 1888, 2000, 2016).

In 27 of the the 41 elections listed below the loser has garnered more than 40% of the popular vote. That is, in 65.9% or almost in 2 out of 3 elections the loser had almost 1/2 of the voting public in his or her favor.

Only Democratic and Republican party's percentages are shown.

1st column shows the election year, 2nd column the Democratic party percentage of the popular vote, 3rd column the Republican party percentage of the popular vote. In all elections except the 4 noted the winner of the popular vote was elected to the presidency.
