Trump campaign web page seized

Trump's campaign website is briefly 'seized' by hackers who claim to have evidence that 'proves his criminal involvement with foreign actors to manipulate the election' - but spokesman says 'there was no exposure to sensitive data'
A message reading, 'this site was seized' appeared briefly on DonaldJTrump.com, before the website was taken offline completely at 7:20pm
The hackers behind the stunt claimed to have compromised multiple of the president's devices, that gave them 'full access' to Trump and his relatives
'We have evidence that completely discredits mr trump as a president, proving his criminal involvement...with foreign actors manipulating the 2020 elections'
The hackers then included a link to two cryptocurrency addresses, one for 'yes, release the data' and a second for 'no, don't release it'
Trump 2020 Communications Director Tim Murtaugh later released a statement on the system breach, assuring that no sensitive data has been compromised

The post continued: 'Today is the day - the whole world can decide if they want to known the truth or not'.

The hackers then included a link to two cryptocurrency wallets, associated with Monero, a 'private, secure, and untraceable digital' cryptocurrency.

They asked viewers of the page to make a donation to either one of the pages to 'vote' as to whether the hackers should either share the data they purport to have on the president, or not to share it.

They said whichever of the links raises the most money by the end of an unspecified deadline will determine their next step.

'After the deadline we will compare the funds and execute the will of the world,' the post read. 'in both cases we will inform you.'

Psychiatrist Robert Jay Lifton: Trump's attempts to falsify reality follows "pattern of the Nazis"

A prominent psychiatrist who spent years studying Nazi Germany called for mental health professionals to speak out ahead of the election about President Trump's attempts to "own reality" by recasting institutions, warning of a pattern that echoes the Nazis.

Dr. Robert Jay Lifton, distinguished professor emeritus at John Jay College and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and a leading psychohistorian who has written extensively about doctors who aided Nazi war crimes, has long called for mental health experts to defy warnings from the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and speak out about Trump's mental health. Lifton recently published a book entitled "Losing Reality: On Cults, Cultism, and the Mindset of Political and Religious Zealotry" and was one of the 27 mental health experts featured in "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump," the bestseller edited by Yale psychiatrist Dr. Bandy X. Lee in which mental health professionals assessed the president.

Lifton told Salon that the book and a Yale conference on the topic began the movement of "psychologists and psychiatrists speaking out against Trump."

"I spoke about what I called malignant normality that was being imposed on us, and the need to be witnessing professionals who told the truth and oppose the malignant normality," he said in an interview last week.

Lifton said that Trump's supporters and enablers exhibit the same "cult-like behavior" that he has studied, adding that the current administration has "Trumpified" every part of the federal government, in much the same way that the German government was "Nazified" under Adolf Hitler.

Busted-Florida gop caught doctoring trump tweet after guarded secret exposed

BUSTED: Florida GOP caught doctoring Trumpís tweet after he endangers their most successful secret

Florida Republicans doctored one of President Donald Trumpís tweets to remove a stigma against mail-in voting.

The president has been falsely claiming thereís a distinction between mail-in voting and absentee ballots, all while exaggerating the risks of fraud, and some Republicans fear heís undermining one of their secrets to success in Florida, reported Politico.

Itís sad that the GOPís strategy to win an election is to scare the living sh*t out of the base with deceptive lies and conspiracy theories,Ē said one Republican consultant. ďItís working for now, but itís a bad long-term strategy that will hurt the party in the future. A simple Google search will tell you that Ďabsenteeí and Ďmail-in ballotsí are the same exact thing.Ē read more at link.

Trump says 'domestic terrorists' and 'ugly anarchists' have overrun Seattle and tells 'radical left

President Donald Trump has demanded that Seattle officials immediately regain control of a six-block zone and police station that have been taken over by armed George Floyd protesters who are demanding the the city's police department and courts be dissolved.

'Radical Left Governor [of Washington, Jay Inslee] and the Mayor of Seattle are being taunted and played at a level that our great Country has never seen before,' Trump tweeted late on Wednesday.

'Take back your city NOW. If you don't do it, I will. This is not a game. These ugly Anarchists must be stooped [sic] IMMEDIATELY. MOVE FAST!' he continued. 'Domestic Terrorists have taken over Seattle, run by Radical Left Democrats, of course. LAW & ORDER!'

It followed astonishing developments in Seattle, where protesters have established what they call the 'Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone,' or CHAZ, setting up barricades and armed checkpoints and declaring that police are not allowed inside the zone.

Armed protesters have been spotting manning checkpoints where they check identification and frisk people at entrances to the zone.

Police say they have received complaints that protesters are demanding cash to enter the zone, as well as 'protection fees' from businesses under their control.

Seattle Police Assistant Chief Deanna Nollette said at a press conference on Wednesday that, while Washington is an open carry state where firearms are allowed, it is a crime to use them to threaten or intimidate others.

She urged anyone who was subjected to demands by protesters to call 911, describing their alleged behavior as extortion.

However, police sources say that the department is now only responding to priority calls of a violent crime in progress, and it is unclear whether they would be able to do more than take a report over the phone.

Anti-police protesters disputed Nollette's description of what was happening inside the so-called autonomous zone.

'This could literally not be less true. It's incredibly open and peaceful in the CHAZ. The businesses that are open are selling flowers, turning their parking lots into med tents, putting supportive signs in their windows,' one person tweeted.

A reporter for KIRO-FM was granted entry to the CHAZ on Tuesday, and said that free food and medical aid was available for demonstrators on every corner.

Some food and supplies were also distributed to the homeless population in the surrounding area, and protesters were organizing a garbage collection for Wednesday, the reporter said.

However, other reports on social media indicated that not everything was unfolding harmoniously within the CHAZ.

Some claimed that rapper Raz Simone had established himself as a 'warlord' within the CHAZ, and was patrolling with armed men.

On Wednesday, video emerged that showed Simone and several other men confronting another man within the CHAZ, accusing him of tagging over someone else's graffiti.

'We are the police of this community now!' one member of the Simone's entourage is heard telling the man, who shrugs them off and continues tagging the side of a building.

Democrats salivate over Obama coming off sidelines The Hill

The decision by Bernie Sanders to suspend his campaign means former President Obama is about to get back into the political spotlight.

Sources close to Obama and Biden say the two men have spoken "quite frequently," as one put it, in recent days as Biden pivots to the general election. Obama has also spoken to Sanders in recent days, according to two sources with knowledge of the conversations.

The former president has stayed out of the Democratic primary, but sources say he is anxious to endorse his former vice president, Joe Biden, and become an active player in the general election campaign against President Trump.

Democrats across the country are also ready for his entry.

"IT IS TIME," Doug Landry, a former Hillary Clinton aide, wrote Wednesday, tweeting a cartoon image of Obama as superman. "RELEASE THE SUPER SURROGATE."

He's eager to go," said one source close to Obama. "He's been waiting for this election for almost four years.

The Atlantic com (This Is Trump's Fault }

That headline, "It's Trump's Fault," may cause you to think that this is just another snarky little article from a snarky writer. Let me assure you that what David Frum has written here is anything but snarky. It's a step-by-step, well-documented exposition covering events from very early January to the present that proves with each word that yes, indeed, it is Rump's fault. The article is long, but length is what's needed to cover Rump's multitudinous lies, missteps and negligence. Copied from a friend's post.

Donít take responsibility at all,Ē said President Donald Trump in the Rose Garden on March 13. Those words will probably end up as the epitaph of his presidency, the single sentence that sums it all up.

Trump now fancies himself a ďwartime president.Ē How is his war going? By the end of March, the coronavirus had killed more Americans than the 9/11 attacks. By the first weekend in April, the virus had killed more Americans than any single battle of the Civil War. By Easter, it may have killed more Americans than the Korean War. On the present trajectory, it will kill, by late April, more Americans than Vietnam. Having earlier promised that casualties could be held near zero, Trump now claims he will have done a ďvery good jobĒ if the toll is held below 200,000 dead.

he United States is on trajectory to suffer more sickness, more dying, and more economic harm from this virus than any other comparably developed country.

Read: How the pandemic will end

That the pandemic occurred is not Trumpís fault. The utter unpreparedness of the United States for a pandemic is Trumpís fault. The loss of stockpiled respirators to breakage because the federal government let maintenance contracts lapse in 2018 is Trumpís fault. The failure to store sufficient protective medical gear in the national arsenal is Trumpís fault. That states are bidding against other states for equipment, paying many multiples of the precrisis price for ventilators, is Trumpís fault. Air travelers summoned home and forced to stand for hours in dense airport crowds alongside infected people? That was Trumpís fault too. Ten weeks of insisting that the coronavirus is a harmless flu that would miraculously go away on its own? Trumpís fault again. The refusal of red-state governors to act promptly, the failure to close Florida and Gulf Coast beaches until late March? That fault is more widely shared, but again, responsibility rests with Trump: He could have stopped it, and he did not.
