Trumps Turkey connection is way worse than you realize

Interesting read .

Earlier this month, Trump National Security Advisor John Bolton, the moustachioed one, the unlikeliest of potential #Resistance heroes, left another clue about his knowledge of President Donald Trumpís corrupt dealings during an investment event at Morgan Stanley.
According to a report by MSNBCís Stephanie Ruhle, Bolton said that he believes there is a ďpersonal or business relationship dictating Trumpís position on Turkey.Ē
Wait what?
The presidentís former national security advisor suggested that the commander-in-chief made life or death national security decisions because of an active conflict of interest related to his business?

The presidentís former national security advisor suggested that the commander-in-chief made life or death national security decisions because of n active conflict of interest related to his business?
Even by the standards of Trumpian corruption, this is holy-motherforking-shirtballs level stuff.
Boltonís accusation, if accurate, would amount to the biggest scandal in the American presidency in half a century: The most senior security staffer, a man with unparalleled access to the president, believes that Trump acted in a way that is indistinguishable from double-dealing despots the world over.

President Donald Trump says the roughly 1,000 U.S. troops he has ordered to leave Syria will remain in the Middle East to prevent a resurgence of the Islamic State threat.

In a written statement Monday announcing his authorization of economic sanctions on Turkey, Trump made clear that the withdrawing troops will leave Syria entirely.
He said the troops will "redeploy and remain in the region." He described their mission as "monitoring the situation" and preventing a "repeat of 2014," when IS fighters who had organized in Syria as a fighting force swept into neighboring Iraq and took control of Iraq's north and west.
Trump confirmed that the small number of U.S. troops at a base in southern Syria will remain there.

Washington at war: Dems aim for speedy impeachment push as Trump threatens whistleblower

Washington (CNN)Lawyers for a whistleblower who accused Donald Trump of pressuring Ukraine to intervene in the 2020 election warn that the President's threats pose a grave risk to their client's safety.
Trump meanwhile escalated his attacks on the whistleblower -- demanding to meet his "accuser" face to face during a day of rage-filled tweets about the Democratic attempt to impeach him.
The extraordinary spectacle of the President -- the titular head of the US legal system -- threatening a potential witness in a case against him risks being seen as an attempt to obstruct the investigation. It also cuts against the principle that whistleblowers deserve anonymity and protection, representing another dark twist in an administration that has constantly tested the boundaries of political propriety.

On another frenetic day of political exchanges, Democrats sought to engineer a fast start to their impeachment efforts as their chances of political success hinge on early momentum to keep the White House off balance-

Rudy Giuliani claims he's 'the real whistleblower' and that no one will know the real story on Trump

Rudy Giuliani claims he's 'the real whistleblower' and that no one will know the real story on Trump and Ukraine 'if I get killed'

annon Stapleton/Reuters
President Donald Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani is caught in the middle of an explosive whistleblower complaint from an intelligence official alleging that Trump improperly pressured Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
The complaint has spurred an official impeachment inquiry into Trump and could lead to legal consequences for Giuliani, a former US attorney and mayor of New York City.
But Giuliani told Politico he believes he's "the real whistleblower" and said, "If I get killed now, you won't get the rest of the story."
While Giuliani told Politico that he deserved whistleblower protection, his attempts to defend himself have only further incriminated him in the whole saga.
Unlike Trump, Giuliani is a private citizen and could be vulnerable to prosecution, especially as he's confirmed much of the substance of the whistleblower's complaint.

Hurricane Dorian churns up East Coast as hundreds evacuate South Carolina and governor warns time is running out to escape - while forecasters say the storm will hit New York 'like a lower end nor'easter'

The Governor of South Carolina says time is running out for people needing to get out of the evacuation zone as Hurricane Dorian barrels its way up the US East Coast.
South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster shared the news during a Wednesday press briefing as hundreds of state residents flocked to local shelters in an effort to escape the Category 2 hurricane.
'We thought it was coming and here it is,' he said, according to the New York Post. 'Our message today is, if you are still in an evacuation zone, you still have time to get out. But the time is running out.

The old sheriff in congressman Dav throws his hat in on the race for governor

Dave Reichert, the former King County Sheriff and U.S. Rep. from the 8th District, is considering a run for governor, the state GOP said.
Reichert, who served in Congress from January 2005 to January 2019, would be a Republican challenger to Jay Inslee, a Democrat trying to be the state's first third-term governor since the 1970s.
Reichert was King County Sheriff from January 1997 until his swearing in to Congress. In September 2017, Reichert announced he would not seek reelection in 2018.

Clearly the old sheriff in congressman Dav does miss his glory days riding in a limo with G.W. Bush . And bush whacking bird lady bus driver, an act he saw as powerful. He even had his eye trained on the vice presidency ,but the bottom fell out of the that. Although he did get to see the fly over. And the plane landed in Alaska.

Who do they got to put up there? There is Rossi , they could run him on third try ,ha ha ! No, there are those that see the old sheriff as a sweet peach ready for picking. Oh well, it looks like the old sheriff in congressman Dav is back in the saddle. It remains to be seen how far he can ride.
