Breaking: Man Who Installed Scott Walkers Secret Router Speaking Out; Installed in 2002! + More

Source: Daily Kos

Yowsa! 2002 is many years earlier than the John Doe investigators acknowledged they knew the system was in operation.

The person who installed the secret router is now speaking up in breaking news in the Wisconsin State Journal.

Gov. Scott Walker's Milwaukee County executive office was using a secret Internet system as early as 2002, according to a former county administrator who said he helped set up the network.

Kiefert said he never spoke with Walker directly about the system but said Russell brought him to Walker's office to be thanked personally for his help. Walker, who was on the phone, looked up, smiled and waved, he said.
"There was no talk of how they were going to use it for campaigning or anything like that," Kiefert said. "Russell made it clear I was doing a favor for Scott Walker."

The Long, Sordid History Of Discrimination Against Christians

The Right to Persecute Witches

The Right to Own Slaves

The Right to Take More Than One Wife

Christians no longer can pray to God to heal their children, but instead face imprisonment for practicing their beliefs regarding spiritual health care.

The right to execute abortionists and bomb abortion clinics has also been denied the most devout followers of Jesus Christ.

And now they are being forced to treat homosexuals like human beings.

It's funny. I consider myself a Christians but apparently I am not because I live by "Treat others as you yourself want to be treated" and "We are all God's childrens and we should love one another the way God loves ALL of us.

Or how about we would all get along better if people simply learned to mind their own business.

Christiegate: Christie Refuses to Release Sandy Fund Integrity Reports

Late yesterday afternoon, Fair Share Housing Center (FSHC) was denied access to integrity monitor reports that are in the possession of the NJ Department of Community Affairs. The reports are required by a state law passed by the Legislature in March 2013 for all Sandy contracts above $5 million. That law, which went into effect immediately upon signing by Governor Christie, was not implemented until February 2014. FSHC requested the integrity monitor reports under the state's public records law. The request was denied because "these reports are draft reports and as such are being exempted in their entirety as advisory and consultative documents." There was no further information given - such as how many reports exist, which contracts they are on, and who had drafted the reports.

Walmart Profit Drops 21 Percent so They are Opening More Stores

NEW YORK (AP) — Wal-Mart Stores Inc. offered a weak profit outlook Thursday, signaling that it expects economic pressures to keep weighing on its low-income shoppers around the world.

The world's largest retailer also said its fourth-quarter profit, which covers the crucial holiday season, dropped 21 percent. Its Wal-Mart stores recorded their fourth consecutive quarter of declines in revenue at stores open at least a year.

The company, which is based in Bentonville, Ark., said it would speed up growth plans for its smaller stores under Neighborhood Markets and Wal-Mart Express to cater to shoppers looking for more convenience. It will now open 270 to 300 small stores during the current fiscal year. That's double the initial forecast for adding 120 to 150 stores.

It looks to me like their employees that used to get food stamps because of the sorry wages they paid can no longer buy any of their made in China junk since food stamps have been cut. Plus shoppers are getting sick and tired of the way they treat their employees and have started shopping at stores that pay their help better and therefore get better service. Opening more stores is not the answer IMO. Being less greedy might help a lot.

Trick Websites Dupe Democrats Into Donating To Republicans

The National Republican Congressional Committee has set up a number of websites that look like they could be a Democratic candidate’s campaign page, unless you read the fine print. They may even violate a Federal Election Commission regulation, Campaign Legal Center expert Paul S. Ryan explained to ThinkProgress.
The NRCC has set up these pages for various congressional opponents, including Amanda Renteria (CA), Martha Roberston (NY), Kyrsten Sinema (AZ), Ann Kirkpatrick (AZ), Alex Sink (FL), and John Tierney (MA). Each follow a similar format; they list the candidate’s name “for Congress” to ask for donations:

According to Ryan, the websites appear to violate a Federal Election Commission regulation prohibiting political committees and parties from using a candidate’s name in special projects. The FEC considers websites, including microsites, a special project falling under this rule. The only exception is when the site makes it unambiguously clear it is opposed to the candidate. In Ryan’s opinion, the page set up under Tierney’s name “does not unambiguously show opposition to Tierney.” However, he noted, the FEC is “not a nimble organization” and it can take two years to complete an investigation, well past election day.
