That's your wish for him?

How about something like "I hope he finds the errors of his ways and reaches out to people and teaches them to love all people"?

I too would be in favor of background checks

for private sales. But I would like to hear how it would work first.

I would be willing to discuss safe storage laws too. I feel that many guns used in crime are stolen
and if keeping guns locked up would help in that area I would discuss that.

At the very least I would like to see public service announcements encouraging safe storage.

Was Lanza or the CO shooter

a gun culturist? Would they have been stopped by what you propose?

January 10, 2013

Just curious...

... can you give an example of: "Can think of hundreds of times I'm glad I didn't have a gun"?

Possibly the biggest knee jerk reaction as far as new gun laws go...

...would be a bullet tax. How would that do anything to stop a crazy person from carrying out a crazy act?
"Oh I see bullets are twice as expensive as they used to be, I guess I'll go read a book".

The only one punished is the law abiding.

I'd sure like to see someone defend the bullet tax.

Yikes!

So did they catch it and now they are going to release it?

January 8, 2013

May I ask...

...what is a landed emigrant?

January 7, 2013

Well, if all guns were turned in...

...I'm sure gun violence would lessen. However, crazy people would still find a way to do crazy things.
