MSN Home Page has a poll on Brett Kavanaugh.

"Should Brett Kavanaugh be confirmed to the Supreme Court?"
Currently, 52% of respondents have said, Yes, he should be confirmed. Only about 30% or so said he should not be confirmed.

MSN poll needs DU help re kneeling players.

There is a poll on MSN this morning about the NFL players kneeling for the Pledge. Currently, about 63% of the respondents declare that the NFL should make a rule that kneeling is not allowed. I hope this is the right place to post this.

I just had a vision about Trump's July Fourth military parade. There was this crazy swing band in the forties, Spike Jones and the City Slickers. They wrote and played this song about Hitler: "Ven ze fuhrer says ve is ze master race, zen ve heil! heil! right in ze fuhrer's face! Not to love ze fuhrer is a great disgrace! So ve heil! heil! right in ze fuhrer's face!"

Wuldn't it be great to hear that playing at that parade today? Or maybe any other day?

I have just had an idea, inspired by King Trump I's majestic disapproval of the Democrats' deportment at the SOTU. Well, and probably the teachings of Lordess Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged&quot . Let's all show the Overlords the fealty they are due to receive. They are asking for a return to the glorious days of medieval obeisance.

Why don't we all go out and weave daisy chains for them? And maybe we could take a page from Voltaire's prescription for nobles who get too impressed by themselves: Follow them around, chanting, "He's going to speak! He's sure to be right! He is right! Yes, he was right!" Harangue them on their magnificence at every opportunity!

And bow or curtsey as they pass by.

Take a lot of time doing it.

No matter how much delay OR inconvenience it causes them. After all, noblesse oblige! Right?

MSN IRAN DEAL POLL NEEDS DU!

I don't know where this should be, and I don't have much time today. The MSN home page has a poll asking, would you support the US pulling out of the Iran Nuclear deal? The Right-wing loonies currently have "yes" at 51%. This is probably because they are telling their followers that we are GIVING money to Iran, rather than just letting them access their own money if they comply with the terms. Anyway, when I tried to do something like this once, somehow it was wrong. But wrong or not, I have to try to get this message to people at Democratic Underground.

The MSN debate poll needs some DU love.
