The theme of the June contest is HDR
There are only 17 entries, thus the top three vote getters in each thread will advance to the finals along with the next two highest vote getters overall.

Submissions are limited to any HDR image. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. To create an HDR image, one must take multiple shots of the same scene at different f stops and use the appropriate software to combine all shots into one final image.
Use of Photoshop or other computer image manipulation is also encouraged. All the general rules for past competitions applies.
To learn more, I would invite you to go to http://www.hdrsoft.com/ which is one of the vendors of HDR software. In addition Adobe Photoshop and NIK Software market software for HDR processing. To see some examples of very good HDR images go to: http://www.hdrsoft.com/gallery/index.php
Preliminary Round will run for 72 hours.
Finals will be posted shortly thereafter and will run for 72 hours.

The June Photo Competition is now open. Please use this discussion thread to post your images. Submission will be closed on June 21st or when 30 images are submitted.

I will post a submission thread about June 12th. Use this time to go out and shoot or rummage through your images to find "that shot." Any subject matter is appropriate as long as the image is an HDR image.

This has been an great contest with wonderful images.The theme of this December Photography contest is Reflections
These 10 images are the ones that placed first or second in the preliminary polls or got the next highest votes. (Note: there was a tie for 10th position, 17 votes, so the 10th position image that got the highest percentage votes in its preliminary contest was selected based on votes/(total votes in the specific prelim).
Voting on the final winner will run for 72 hours.
