The longer it would take for OK to schedule another execution would be inversely related to public opinion's blood lust; being such good Christians.

If you extrapolate these symptoms from a single person to how Putin must view the world.

The DSMIV cites as an "essential feature" of the narcissist a "lack of empathy that begins by early childhood and is present in a variety of contexts." If lack of empathy isn't a hallmark of an antisocial individual, then what is (again see the DSMIV "reckless disregard for the safety of others&quot ?

The most important point is that people who are either antisocial or narcissistic are victimizers...who is incredibly self-centered and self-aggrandizing, who is untruthful and cannot be trusted, who fails to see things from any point of view other than his own, and who is able to eliminate fear (and conscience) long enough to pursue any means to an end. Invariably, others are betrayed, deceived, and emotionally (perhaps financially) injured. The narcissist may not commit an act that is illegal, but the damage he does may be devastating. In fact, because the narcissist appears to be law-abiding, others may not be suspicious of him leaving him freer to pursue his objectives, no matter at whose expense...

This is a bad thing for the world and everybody on it and I hope President Obama and the EU take appropriate steps to diffuse the situation.

I took the step of selling most of my stocks because of this interesting time, but I sure hope I'm wrong as to the crap Putin could cause.

NOt sure if this is the forum I should be posting in, but;

I'm thinking of getting a semi exotic house cat.

I'm leaning toward a Savannah but are there better choices?

At first I thought about breeding but for f1s and f2s the cost from reputable sites are in the low 5 figures, WAY out of my range.

For 'fixed' the range is less than a $1,000 and doable.

Another possibility is the Maine Coon Cat (don't worry, there's no racism involved), or maybe the Serval or Serengeti Cat.

Any thoughts/advice/suggestions.

BTW, I have a 2 1/2 yo Tabby and it may be possible to introduce one of these exotics byo an animal rescue but I don't want the existing cat to drop of an embolism.

Right now I am 'boarding' my daughter's 70 lb Huskie in the basement and my cat almost never goes downstairs except to be let out and jumps at any sound, even upstairs.

You just can't make this up; Florida man accidentally shoots self in leg after gun safety class

"Police in Boynton Beach, Florida responded on Friday to a call from a man who claimed he had accidentally shot himself. According to the Palm Beach Post, officers found the man in the bed of his pickup truck nursing a gunshot wound to the leg.

The injured man explained that he was headed home from a gun safety class and had stopped on the side of the road to inspect his Glock pistol. He told officers that he had removed the ammunition clip, but failed to remove the bullet in the weapon’s chamber. As he was manipulating the slide, the weapon discharged.

Police provided emergency first aid treatment at the scene, then transported the victim to a local hospital."

You'd think he'd have stayed awake when the instructor said to "make sure there is not a round in the chamber and ALWAYS keep the safety on".

Just sayin.
