I recently found out that my adorable HS boyfriend... who I still dream about after all these years.... had suffered a stroke. It was like getting punched in the gut.

I'm sure your friend was way younger than us. I know you must be in shock. He sounds like an incredible man.

Oh wow.... I'm sure others would like to weigh in on this....

but I think it's important to comment carefully in General Discussion. I am still cautious of my comments in there. At times a simple wording choice can cause others to misconstrue your intent and then they get offended. Just observe for awhile to get the overall tenor of the discussion before jumping in with both feet.

In the Lounge, everyone is very welcoming. Don't be afraid to jump in here. There are a lot of what seem like "inside jokes", but it's just that we have heard them so many times. Don't be afraid to ask when you don't understand the references. Kittens are quite popular here! (I am a "dog" person, though. LOL)
