PSA: Check your air conditioners.

If you live in an older building, you may have an older system that has a drip pan. Make sure it isn't clogged, or water will overflow all over the floor. Mine just did that, because I didn't know about it and couldn't figure out why the carpet in my bedroom was wet. I was afraid my cats were forgetting their litterbox manners. Water was causing staining on the ceiling of the apartment below mine, and the guy called the maintenance guy. An easy but important fix.

Hey, Supreme Court Five! A little something for you from my favorite musical:

I couldn't find a good video of this, so this will have to do.

Funniest Spay/Neuter Ad Ever!

I left the Catholic Church several months ago.

I returned to the Methodist church. I attend the one I used to go to when I lived here before. It is quite progressive, even for a Methodist church, and always has been. Today, I am more certain than ever that I did the right thing. I had been having some doubts, because the Catholic church still does much good in the world -- but until the hierarchy gets out of the Middle Ages on women's issues, its mission of feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and healing the sick will be hindered. The Methodist Church does just fine in those areas, without the baggage. Life is good.

This poor guy certainly didn't get his wish:

I hope relief will be coming soon and action not just paper talk . . . I hope that Wall Street will never have the power again to cause such a panic.

OK, so who wants to go back in time and help build an Egyptian pyramid?

You get clothing, tax breaks, food, and -- beer.

Of course, I think that was before they had all those Hebrew slaves to do it for free.

I love H2!

OK, which shall it be tonight: "Blazing Saddles" or "Young Frankenstein?"

I can't decide which one to put in the DVD player tonight.

Spoiler Alert!!

The ship sank.

Today's quick chuckle from "Law & Order":
