Tulsi Gabbard Sends Cease and Desist Letters to Keith Olbermann, Mitt Romney
This is a couple of days old, but anything that pisses off Tulsi G. is OK with me.
----------------------------------------
Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) sent cease and desist letters on Wednesday to former MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann and Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), both of whom have criticized Gabbard for shilling for Russia during its invasion of Ukraine.
The letter to Olbermann surrounded a March 14 tweet he posted in response to a video showing The View calling for the Department of Justice to investigate Gabbard and Fox News host Tucker Carlson for shilling for [Russian President Vladimir] Putin.
The letter called Olbermanns tweet false and defamatory and defended Gabbards service in the U.S. Army.
After serving in elected office at the state and local levels, Representative Gabbard was elected to the United States Congress at the age of thirty-one. Representative Gabbard served on the Armed Services, Homeland Security, and Foreign Affairs Committees, stated the letter by conservative lawyer Harmeet Dhillon. Representative Gabbard continues to serve the United States in uniform as a lieutenant colonel in the 351st Civil Affairs Command, a unit of the United States Army Reserve. Thus, she has skin in the game when it comes to matters of foreign policy and war.

Daryle Lamonica, QB who led Raiders to first Super Bowl appearance, dies at 80
Daryle Lamonica, the deep-throwing quarterback who won an AFL Player of the Year award and led the Raiders to their first Super Bowl appearance, has died. He was 80.
The Fresno County Sherriffs said Lamonica passed away at his Fresno home on Thursday morning. The death is considered to be from natural causes.
The Raiders acquired Lamonica in a trade from Buffalo in 1967 and he was immediately the perfect fit for the vertical offense owner Al Davis coveted for his franchise.
Nicknamed the Mad Bomber, Lamonica made an immediate impact in Oakland after starting only four games in four seasons with the Bills.

CNN reportedly talking w/Brian Williams, Olbermann and Chris Wallace for slots after CNN+ shutdown
According to a story on The Wrap, CNN is looking to several people to fill broadcast slots now that CNN+ is going away and to fill the slot left by the firing of Chris Cuomo. One, of course, is Chris Wallace. But two others, surprisingly to me, are Brian Williams and Keith Olbermann. Hmmmm.
The coming days will ignite a potential reshuffle of the cable network's lineup, with six CNN+ hosts vying for new assignments or expanded roles after the streamer abruptly shuttered just three weeks after launch. Wallace, the star newsman lured from rival Fox News last December, is the internal favorite to switch over to the broadcast channel and inherit the 9 p.m. bully pulpit left open since Chris Cuomo was fired late last year.
CNN's newly named president Chris Licht is playing his cards close to the vest, with insiders saying he didn't even give the streamer's top hosts and producers advanced warning about his decision to pull the plug on the platform. There was also uneasiness among the staff still getting to know a new regime ushered in earlier this month by Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav.
"No one knows anything. Truly," said one CNN+ journalist who will remain at the network, perhaps even in an expanded role. "We're in the dark and will probably stay there for weeks."
