StrictlyRockers's JournalSaudi affair exposes Trumpism's moral apathy
Washington (CNN)Donald Trump has dug a moral hole through the middle of America's foreign policy -- and he's not sorry at all.
The President's reaction to the apparent murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul offers the clearest evidence yet of his turn away from a foreign policy rooted in universal human values.
The crisis is instead showcasing Trump's radical form of "America First" realpolitik, his promise not to infringe other nations' sovereignty with lectures on human rights and his trust in the word of autocrats.
In his unrepentant conduct of American foreign policy, Trump is lurching from a path taken by every president since World War II, who all believed to various degrees that American leadership was needed to create a world safe for democracy, open commerce and freedom.
And it will be seen around the world as an unmistakable sign that there is no cost for heinous behavior -- after all, it happened days after a US-based journalist for a top American newspaper was apparently killed before his body was reportedly chopped up in an official Saudi government building.

So much for being the moral leader in the world. We are the evil empire and Trump is Darth Vader. #RESIST

It's from a trip Rump took to a kindergarten where they colored in the US flag, and Rump colored it in wrong.
I like presidents whose brains weren't captured by InfoWars.

71-year-old Timothy Nolan a former Campbell County District Judge who was chair of the Trump campaign in Kentucky according to court documents entered guilty pleas on all 21 counts against him in court on Friday. A press release issued by the office of Kentucky Attorney General Andy Beshear listed a multitude of charges, including human trafficking of adults, human trafficking of minors, and unlawful transaction with minors.
Nolan will serve 20 years in jail and pay restitution of $110,000, with a bulk of the fine going toward the Human Trafficking Victims Fund, which the Kentucky General Assembly established in 2013. Nolan will be eligible for parole in 2022, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. If he had not entered guilty pleas, Nolan would have faced up to 100 years in prison.
The New York Daily News reported that Nolan had a total of 19 victims dating back to 2004. While the victims information has not been publicly released, some of them included children below the age of 18. Judge Kathleen Lape said Nolan threatened arrest and eviction to force women and girls to have sex with him. Nolan also apparently paid the women and juveniles with heroin and painkillers, and gave alcohol to a minor on more than one occasion.

https://twitter.com/christoq/status/1014644438167982080Trump attack dog Devin Nunes is down a whopping 27 points from 2016

All across the country, House Republicans in traditionally very safe districts suddenly find themselves scrambling to survive in the age of Trump. And now Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), who easily won re-election by 35 points in 2016, is down to just an eight-point lead over his Democratic challenger, Andrew Janz.
In a new Public Policy Polling survey, paid for by Democratic political action committee End Citizens United, 49 percent of voters support Nunes, compared to 41 percent who support Janz.
Typically, an eight-point advantage is a comfortable margin. But compared to 2016, this means Nunes level of support has already plummeted by an astonishing 27 points in less than two years.
And given the massive scale of the campaign his challenger is running, Nunes support could easily drop even further in the more than four months between now and November.
Janz, a violent crimes prosecutor, has raised about four times more cash than all of Nunes previous Democratic challengers between 2002 and 2016 put together, according to the Fresno Bee.
What is covfefe? (I wrote a thing)
What is covfefe? How do I define covfefe? I don't. Covfefe is a made up word. Covfefe, by my best guess, is a typo that happened when Donald Trump (hereafter referred to as 45*, strictly in the interest of brevity) fell asleep while attempting to send out a tweet attacking the lying lugenpresse. You see, the problem with an active, investigative free-press is that they will tell the truth about your shady dealings with the Russian mob, so you've got to attack them and call them dishonest. That way, the moronic, Oxycontin-addled base that supports you will be more likely to disbelieve the press and believe your bullshit.
Covfefe is the result of a 72-year-old man's attempt to discredit the Fourth Estate. 45* was trying to let everyone know, once again, that the press had been unfair to him. *single tear* *tiny violin* And he was sending out a very important tweet to let everyone know it. The problem was that he fell asleep in the middle of tweeting (possibly on the toilet, we'll never know), and thus the non-word-word "covfefe" came into existence.
Covefe means nothing. Covfefe is not a word. Covfefe literally made Merriam-Webster throw up their hands and give up. Yes, I'm using the world literally loosely here, but if Merriam-Webster had arms, they would literally have thrown them up right here: https://twitter.com/MerriamWebster/status/869782666572443648
So my best guess is that the dude had a brain fart and nodded out. But everyone has their theories. Hillary thought it was a secret message to the Russians: https://www.cnn.com/2017/05/31/politics/hillary-clinton-covfefe/index.html
The tweet in question occurred at 12:06 AM on May 31, 2018. It read, in it's entirety, "Despite the negative press covfefe". He attacked the media three times in tweets in March 2017 using the same word, "despite". I think this gives weight to my argument. This covfefe tweet was simply another attempt to discredit the Fourth Estate, one of the foundational pillars of our democracy. But then Agent Orange passed out on the can. Or maybe his short fat fingers couldn't hit the right keys on his twitter machine. Theories abound..
One theory is that he accidentally tweeted out the nuclear launch codes. Sean Spicer contributed to the nonsense with his answer: I think the president and a small group of people knew exactly what he meant. https://twitter.com/mviser/status/869989858768338944
45* himself, added fuel to the absurdity by deleting the original tweet and sending out a tweet the next day which read, "Who can figure out the true meaning of "covfefe" ??? Enjoy!" https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/869858333477523458
Enjoy? Like we're supposed to get some kind of thrill out of attempting to decipher the moronic ramblings of an incoherent, doddering old dotard who fell asleep on the commode? Get real. Enjoy being impeached.
(This is only half finished. Posting on DU for feedback, thx.)
Either way, I'm changing my Twitter handle from StrictlyCovfefe to StrictlyChristo as soon as he's run out of office.

Right-wing outrage machine bullies FBI director into making biased statements that swing election.
"The right-wing outrage machine managed to bully the FBI director into breaking FBI policy so that he made biased statements to the media that pushed the election towards Donald Trump. The bullying worked & that's why they are still doing it."
