If Bernie isn't elected president then you will be on your own

If either Trump or Clinton is president you will be on your own.

When you need healthcare - forget it - you will be on your own

When you want further education - forget it - you will be on your own

When you want a raise in the minimum wage - forget it - you will be on your own

When you need adequate maternity leave - forget it - you will be on your own

and the list goes on...

and oh when the draft comes they will really want you

Clinton and Trump are oligarchs and they only have interest in power.

Bernie Sanders is not afraid to talk about SINGLE PAYER HEALTHCARE

My hero

http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/sep/30/single-payer-cure-healthcare-reform

I start my approach to healthcare from two very basic premises. First, healthcare must be recognized as a right, not a privilege. Every man, woman and child in our country should be able to access the healthcare they need regardless of their income. Second, we must create a national healthcare system that provides quality healthcare for all in the most cost-effective way possible.

Tragically, the United States is failing in both areas..........

Maglev train idea for Northeast resurfaces

Source: Baltimore Sun

Maglev is back, tantalizing Marylanders with the promise of speeds that could whisk train passengers from Baltimore to Washington in 15 minutes.

What is billed as a new generation of magnetic levitation technology is at the heart of the latest proposal, the first step in what would eventually be a line taking passengers from Washington to New York in 60 minutes at a cruising speed of 311 mph.

The proposal resurrects a technology that seemed to be the next big thing in the late 1990s and early 2000s before fizzling out amid concerns over its cost, the difficulty of putting together a suitable route and its potential effect on neighbors.

Many of those hurdles remain, but an investment group headed by a former chair of the Maryland Democratic Party and backed by former politicians of both parties is pushing a new version of maglev. The group is seeking financial, community and political support for a project called TNEM — for The Northeast Maglev.

I like fast trains! This could create lots of jobs?
September 22, 2012

The M. F. paid only 14% in taxes yet he is storing millions offshore!

This makes me mad. We had to pay more than 20% and we earn very little.

This isn't fair.
