How much money has the Congress voted for and passed to make sure that the 2020 election is safe?

Also, that no one can hack in and change results? Does anyone know? I don't remember ever reading about such a proposal. Has anyone heard of such a law passing? Has the Republican House or Senate proposed and passed such a law?. Has Mr. Trump signed such a law? ..... (I don't know, does anybody know?)

Why it will end the same as Watergate.

...Nixon said, "I am not a crook" but he was. Trump said, "I never worked for Russia " but it looks like he did. Trump is arrogant in the same way that Nixon was. Trump is totally embolden to do whatever he wants to do. After all, there are several important facts about Trump. Even though he had been accused of being a liar over and over, even though he had to declare bankruptcy a number of times, even though his reputation for honesty and being fair as an employer was totally absent and destroyed, Donald Trump was elected and is now President of the United States.
...Donald got away with it and thinks he can do it again. I can't imagine what that thinking is like. Getting away with so much "crap" and still being elected to the most important electable office in the world...
...Here is the bottom line, Mueller is not some second rate prosecutor. He is the best with a lifetime of experience. His team is also the best. I think his attitude is one of, "We will get the crooks." "Whoever and wherever they did wrong, we will get them. Is there proof? Yes, Mueller has already gotten a good number of crooks who were deeply involved with this "crap." Some have admitted guilt, and will go to prison. Some, were very close to and involved with Donald Trump. They know all about Donald Trump and his "crap."
...That "arrogance" is the key. When you are that arrogant, you do things and you are sure you can get away with them. So, if Nixon erased evidence that was going to go to a committee that was investigating him, (no proof that Nixon did it) what is to keep Trump from covering up content of meetings with Mr. Putin? If you are sure that you can do "anything, and get away with it" you will do anything and be sure you can get away with it.
,,,Mueller has dealt with people who thought they could get away with "anything" before, and got them. By "got them" I mean captured them, indicted them, convicted them, and sent them to prison. I don't know, but I can guess that it gives him some satisfaction to get the worst crooks, and put them away for a long time. And these that he "got" were major crooks: top of the line crooks. And it is my strongest belief, that Mr. Mueller will get Mr. Trump too. Mueller is the best, and he and his team will get Mr. Trump.

Trump is an idiot. An embolden idiot who thinks he can get away with anything. He wont.

Yes, he has gotten away with a whole lot. But this is the end, because now Trump is up against the very best who will get him. With Mueller and the Democratic Congress working separately, there is no doubt that one or the other will get Trump. (maybe both) But Trump's attitude has not changed. He hasn't quieted down, and has not become more cautious as one would assume someone in his position would. I think he will lose in ways that he does not know.

The Greatest Gift I Ever Received

......The greatest gift I ever received was an idea that I want to share today. During the last year or so, I have thought about this often. This gift was given to me over 30 years ago by my ex wife, Her name is Christine, and the gift was ...an idea.
.....The "idea" was to purchase a "town house" in a suburb near Chicago. Christine had gotten the lead on this from her boss. It was/ is a two story town house with a finished basement. We looked at this and decided to buy it which we did.
....So how is this "two story townhouse with a finished basement a gift? Something I never considered a gift, became a "gift." Here is the reason it is a great "gift"
....There are 28 steps from the basement to the second floor where I spend a lot of time on the computer and reading. There is a very comfortable place on that second floor to lay back and read...
...But the TV is in the basement. And the washing machine and dryer are in the basement. And I live alone. (divorced several years after purchase of townhouse) So if I want to wash clothes, I got to collect them and walk down to the basement to put the clothes into the washer. Then I set the machine, and it starts up, and usually, I go back up the stairs to check on the news on the computer or listen to some music on the computer at YouTube. ( I got a collection of old music there)
.....I am retired, so I have lots of time to clean (which I do) and watch the basement TV (which I do) and cook (which I do) and bend down to kill the ants crawling around in the kitchen..(which I do) Sometimes I step on them, but often I bend over and get them with a kitchen utensil. (which I do)
...So what is the big deal about all of this? ...Here is the secret, I bend down often as I navigate the town house, Up and down the 28 stairs from the basement to the quiet room where I type and rest. Walking up and down those stairs is a form of ..."exercise" After many years of up and down the stairs, often I don't like the 28 stairs. It ain't easy sometimes. I am over 65 . But this is a "gift" because I have to walk up and down those stairs if I want to continue living in the "town house" in the suburb near Chicago. Up and down 28 stairs 10 or 15 times a day. Sometimes more, and often less.
...I never thought of those stairs as a gift. But they are. I think those stairs have kept my legs strong, Even on days when I don't to the gym to exercise, I got to walk up and down those stairs. Over and over again, 28 stairs..10 or 15 times a day, sometimes more, and sometimes less---every day I live in that place. Those steps are a gift that keep my legs in shape. And that is the real gift. Just being able to walk up and down the stairs without too much trouble and be retired. .....Sometimes when I am shopping for food at the local food store, and I see many people who have trouble walking through the store with their carts, and riding on carts to buy their food, I stop and think about how grateful I am that I can still walk up and down those stairs, every day, 10 to 15 times. And be retired, and go to the local forest preserve and walk though the forest and look at the trees and bikes riding down the bike path near the walking trail... And I am walking and looking around, And just for a moment, sometimes more, I stop and think, "You know, those 28 stars have improved the quality of my life, not just a little, but a whole lot." Often we need to be grateful for what we have. And sometimes, I look at those stairs, and say thank you to the stairs, and in my mind, to my ex wife who suggested buying this place. You know, this place has 28 stairs which I walk up and down 10 to 15 times a day....And to be able to do so is a great gift. If you got this far, thank you for reading this.. Stuart. ..

A simple thought: If there wasn't any substance to all this about Trump being an asset to

Putin and Russia, that is: no substance at all, then why would all of us be reading about this now? There must be something there, or the FBI would have killed the investigation. So, It stands to reason that if there was nothing there, the investigation would have been stopped months ago or maybe last year By deduction, there must be something there. And it is likely to be extremely significant and important. Also, if there was nothing there, by now we would found out through the media and a number of sources that ..."The FBI did an extensive investigation into Trump, and found nothing."
