Congress quietly just took away one of Trumps most important powers: Power to propose a budget.

The President has the power to create a budget with certain preferences to spend here or spend there. That is the way it is usually done. Proposed budget then goes to congress for deliberation and approval. This is the way it is done....

but not this year....A few days ago, Congress passed a 2 year budget..yes..2 years

Schumer and McConnell worked out a deal for 2 years. It seems that deal included increased spending everywhere to take care of increased costs. The amount of spending for this and for that remains at the same ratio as it did before..I guess. Hell I don't know.

But no more arguments that we spend on this or on that for 2 years. It was done quietly and very quickly. The idea that Trump as President would propose next years budget is out of the picture. It has been passed.

Next years budget has already been passed, if I understand it. It was a 2 year budget deal...Correct.?

Well that means that Trump has lost the power to propose next years budget. One of the most important powers that any president has is to propose a budget.. Why? Well that is how the money is going to be spent, and that is very important. By passing a 2 year budget, it means that has been done for next year too. Trump cannot propose next years spending because it has already been passed. Get the picture...

McConnell and Schumer and a group of them, (I don't know who) proposed and passed terms of the United States federal government budget for 2 years. . .

One more note: I assume that the ratio for spending is the same as this years budget, based on Trump's budget proposal. But I don't know. If the budget this year was prepared with Trump's approval, and it was, I guess, and the ratios are similar, than Trump did have input.

But who knows?..because Schumer and McConnell passed that second year rather quickly without much debate..Did we debate that here?...don't think so. I am not sure that Trump was greatly involved in this years budget preparations either. I am not sure that he has a clue. But if Trump set some limits and ratios for this year, maybe they used the same ones for the year after. One thing is for sure, Congress does not have to go to Trump for a budget for a long time. Schumer and McConnell fixed that one.

As Trump tries to defend himself, he realizes he is in far deeper than he thought.

He defends these abusers and digs a deeper hole for himself. That is what he does. He can try to claw his way out, but he will just get deeper. Blaming Obama, as he did today, is absurd. He thinks this is some kind of TV show, where he can say anything and get away with it. He cannot. Where he is at, is the single most watched political office in the entire nation. Whatever he says will be watched and analyzed far more than anything has ever done before. Yes, he can lie, but the lies will be exposed. Yes, he can hide the memo, but it will also be exposed. The deeper he goes, the more he blames others. And that is indeed stupid.

Do you think that Trump's defense of Porter could be the defining moment?..

The wives say that their husband abused them. (Porter's wives) Trump defends the abuser totally. If enough people talk about this, could it be the defining moment for the republican party as well as Trump? There are a lot of women who voted for Trump and the republicans. How can the women ignore this?..

Trump defends the abuser...This abuse was/is on the FBI file. Trump did not read the reports, and Kelly did not tell Trump that his administration was hiring an abuser. Trump is sad that Porter is leaving. No remorse for the abused women, not even a mention. You must know this has to be the topic to discuss. Will other republicans support Trump on this, or say he should have mentioned the abused wives?

This is Trump's responsibility to hire his staff that is totally clean with no records of crime. This is a White House Staff that Trump comes in contact with daily..How many people can that be?

Yet this wife abuser, Porter, with complaints on file, was hired anyway. People need to talk about this simple fact. Trump defended the wife abuser, no mention of those abused. Again, will some republicans attack Trump on this totally insensitive statement? Will even one republican say this was totally wrong? We can beat this one into a total democratic victory in 8 months. This cannot go away. Trump, yes Trump hired a wife abuser for a member of his staff. It is his responsibility. After all, it is his staff. He should know and be responsible for the people he hires. Don't you think?

Government Shutdown Begins

Source: CNN

CNN) — The federal government shut down for the second time in less than a month overnight as Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul prevented a two-year budget deal from passing Thursday.

Though a massive budget deal and government funding package still was expected to pass by morning, congressional negotiators were scrambling all day Thursday to lock in enough votes in the House, and that was before Paul, a Republican, made public his dissatisfaction with the deal, which would raise government spending, avert a government shutdown and lift the debt ceiling.

A joke about truly effective.."counseling" ......a bit nasty" but not much..

Effective Counseling....a bit "nasty"

A desperate looking woman stood poised on the edge of a high cliff about to jump off.
A filthy tramp wandering by stopped and said, “Look, since you’ll be dead in a few minutes, and it won’t matter to you, how about a little sex before you go?”
She screamed, “NO! Bug off you filthy old bastard!”
He shrugged and turned away saying, "Okay, I’ll just go and wait at the bottom.”
She didn't jump

The wife abuse story about Porter is bad, but the entire Trump story will be much worse.

This story about "wife abuse" and it is bad, but I think it will seem small compared to what is coming. And they tried to protect him...well that could be "worse."

Nevertheless, Mueller will reveal stuff that will be "unbelievable." This clown crowd thinks it can get away with anything, and then cover it up. (just like Porter tried)

I think Mueller and team are greatly offended by that kind of thinking.. Mueller's team will show us how Trump's team tried to cover up the Russian connection in some special "illegal" ways. And also ways that the Trump group did everything possible to keep that out of the news before the election and right after the election and through June.

And in the end that crowd will be taught lessons that will end many in jail........that is what I believe.

Why War with N. Korea is very unlikely.

Please hit this link, it is a map of Southern Asia. There are two major countries that border North Korea to the north and northeast, and have enormous power in today's modern world. The two countries in question, are China and Russia. Yes, Russia has a very small border with North Korea. Look for the Russian city of Vladivostok. It is about 75 miles from the North Korean border

It is in these 2 countries own self interest to prevent war between North Korea and the United States. It is that simple. It is not complicated. Today is 2018, not 1949. It is my opinion that the leaders of Russia and China will do everything to prevent a war between the U.S and their neighbor North Korea. Why? Who would want a war that close to your country? Russia and China border North Korea. Take a look. If you were a leader of either of these counties, wouldn't you do everything possible to prevent such an event? Sure there is "bluster" and "talk." Some leaders of countries "bluster and talk." But that is not war. It is in the self interest of Russia and China to prevent a war between the United States and North Korea.
