What's the best full length animated film?. My opinion on this is "The Iron Giant"

Not only is the animation outstanding, but the story and over all impact is great. I saw it 5 times in the theater, and walked out happy each time. There is something wonderful too about the deep meaning of the movie. It took me a long time, even after I got the video, to recognize the meaning of very last scene where you see the Iron Giant This is a very moving and wonderful film, and I recommend this film to everyone. If you haven't seen it, it is at the library or on the internet.

From Watergate to Trumpgate...the Saturday Massacre has arrived.

....Nixon fired some important people in the White House who were not going to follow the orders.
....Trump fired an important person in the Justice Department who was not going to follow orders.

The names have been changed, but the results will be the same.
This will end the same as Watergate..(that is an opinion only)..But Trump has taken the Watergate
plunge, and Donald does not know it..

What do you think?..47 years ago...1973....October 1973.. Who would believe it?

Nixon was sure he could get away with it.
Trump is sure that he can get away with it.

Nixon fired important people who were investigating him...He was sure he would suffer no consequences.
...In the end, it was a major turning point in the investigation, and some republicans turned against Nixon in the days that followed. Eventually, it was one of the important events that lead to Nixon's resignation. Nixon said, "I will not resign" and "I am not a crook" during the time that followed the massacre ..

Iowa seemed out of reach for Democrats not too long ago. Now, the presidential race appears to be tightening, and Senator Ernst, a Republican, is facing a strong challenge from a political newcomer.

Iowa was not on anyone’s bingo card of 2020 battlegrounds.

Donald J. Trump carried the state by nine percentage points in 2016, and a year ago prominent Democrats in the state passed up the chance to challenge Senator Joni Ernst, a popular Republican seeking re-election.

But with the political ground shifting precariously under Mr. Trump amid multiple crises, Iowa is unexpectedly in play in the presidential and Senate races this year, moving Republicans to high alert. Democrats, who a few years ago were shrouded in despair that their party might never again appeal to white working-class voters, are energized.

A poll published by The Des Moines Register and Mediacom on Monday showed Mr. Trump with only a one-point lead in the state over former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. The poll revealed a deep erosion of support for the president among white women without college degrees, voters who were key to his 2016 coalition across a swath of Midwestern swing states.

The same survey showed that Ms. Ernst, a rising star in her party in her first term, was narrowly trailing her little-known Democratic challenger.

Trump holding a bible will not hold well with those that know the bible.

No, I have never quoted the bible before,but there is always a first time, About holding false witness:

Commandment 9: Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor

True believers in the bible, will see Trump holding one as an insult. He is the very last person who believes in the bible...read the above, (especially about ...a lying tongue)

I will add respectfully: Some, very few, will see Trump's holding a bible as his faith in the bible. But those that care about the bible's meaning will understand that Trump is the very last person to believe in the bible, or the commandments. Most will see the truth that Trump is a liar and also a total & complete hypocrite

One of the most powerful advertisments I have ever seen.

I have taught advertisements in high school, when I was teaching and have watched thousands with a critical eye that I still enjoy. This one against Donald Trump is a masterpiece. It is only one minute, and is now up in Video & Multimedia Forum. It is brilliant and urge you to watch this for no other reason that it is a great ad.

A link to a long story about a very bad cop who got caught, and the City of Chicago

paid millions to those people this bad cop, Commander John Burge, " punished"
......Also, former Commander Burge spent some time in prison..Yes, in prison for harming people captured who did no wrong....Yes, very long, but worth while reading...........

Many cops were punished because of this asshole, and many payments were made to rectify wrongs..payments in millions of dollars to people wrongly convicted.. read the long story..yes, it did happen.

The "stupid police" are aware that Trump may have said the stupidest thing ever said...

...They are now checking into it, and if true, a warrant will be issued, to ignore all statements made
by...Mr. Stupid, now and in the future.. Something about "people wearing masks as a sign of protest[ against Mr. Trump.
.... The police are comparing this statement with many others and we are told will soon come to a conclusion as to the truthfulness of this..."being the stupidest thing or if there are stupider statement"
.... Since the police need to check thousands of statements out, this is going to take some time..but
the police have assured us that when the time comes, the "capture will be taken.."

Joe vs Donald. ?

..Joe is an honest, decent, man with much experience and has seen a whole lot in his life. Joe was VP of the U.S.A. and was a senator before that. Joe's whole life has been dedicated to helping others.

..Donald is a liar, bully, con man, TV person, who hasn't learned when or if to shut up. Far more important, Donald has had a show the last couple of years and has proven beyond doubt exactly who & what he is. The last 6 months have highlighted the lies, the bully, and his deep incompetence and stupidity of Donald.

So, who are most people going to vote for? It really isn't too difficult to figure out...It is time for a change, and at least 65 to 70 percent will end up voting for the honest, decent man. Even life long republicans know it is time for a change to save this country and begin to undo the damage Donald has done. We have seen proof of this in many stories about life long republicans who are ready to vote for Joe.

Yes, Donald may think he can win, but given his show the last 6 months or so, Donald cannot win if those who are sick & tired of the liar, the bully and stupid con man, just get out and vote on November 3. Please vote for the decent man on November 3, 2020. We need to save this diverse and wonderful country.
