Sessions will be gone by the end of the day, today. March 2..

It is guess. It is so clear a lie, and could become the center of attention for months and years. He will be gone because that is what Trump will do. (Of course..it is a guess, and I haven't got a clue..)

A "proposal" for change to ACA is a "proposal" that is all.

3..just three republican senators could stop this so called "proposal" forever...We got 48, they got 52...If 3 of them, say ....no to the "proposal" , then it does not become law..Are there 3 of them who could say "no" to the proposal?..

Mild Mannered Woman from Washington is the Democrats Deadliest Weapon: Huff Post

Patty Murray (D-Wash.) compared the Republicans in the House to the preschoolers she once taught. To deal with a bunch of fractious, obstreperous 4-year-olds, she said, you need a plan.

When Murray made her comparison, she was about to sit down with Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) in what turned out to be the only significant successful bipartisan budget negotiation Congress has managed since the shutdown.

Four years later, the House is still roiled by a crowd of sharp-elbowed and feuding Republican lawmakers who can’t agree even on how to do the one thing they all say they want ― repeal Obamacare. But now, there’s a new alpha boy atop their playground monkey bars.

President Donald Trump outdid them all, belittling, bullying and insulting his way to the Oval Office.

Murray is familiar with the personality type.

“There is a bully in every classroom,” Murray said this week. “And the best way to teach other children in your preschool class that it’s not OK is to make it not OK.”

That is precisely what Murray and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) are trying to do. Since there are only 48 senators on their side of the ledger, they lack the votes to beat back Trump and a raft of nominees that Democrats see as historically awful. What they can do is show the country and their Republican colleagues that it’s not OK. Murray is turning out to be Schumer’s deadliest weapon in that fight.

A Republican gave a speech once..and we can quote it over and over..April 16, 1953

President Dwight D. Eisenhower..."Chance for Peace Speech "

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chance_for_Peace_speech

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.
This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some fifty miles of concrete pavement. We pay for a single fighter with a half-million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people. . . . This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron...

Sadly..when he left office in 1961...he gave another great speech about the "military industrial complex" and what it stands for...but that one is for another time...

I think that the Republicans are indeed watching Trump..example

http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/319714-mcconnell-trump-makes-own-goals-harder

Mitch McConnell said yesterday, that Trump should remain on topic, and if he did he would be 10 to 15 points higher in standing....Hit the link..see for yourself..Trump has been warned, for all to see, to get it together and stay focused.....

I believe he is being watched.......by his own people...

from the article linked, (The Hill, Feb 15)

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell

(R-Ky.) says President Trump’s public remarks and tweets are complicating his ability to enact his agenda.

“ 10 to 15 points higher if he allowed himself to stay on message,” McConnell told the Weekly Standard Wednesday, referencing Trump’s approval rating. "What he’s saying makes everything harder. harder to achieve what you want to achieve.”

McConnell said he had repeatedly urged Trump to tone down his rhetoric, especially on his Twitter account.
“He doesn’t always take my advice,” he said, noting the president is the “most criticized person in the world.”

He said he does not object to Trump’s tweets but “what you say with the tweet” instead. McConnell said Trump creates a “theater aspect” when he publicly tackles certain issues, creating fodder for the media “on a daily basis.”

The Kentucky senator insisted he has “a really good relationship” with Trump despite his remarks, citing an hour they spent together at the White House last week.

and added point....paragraph 3...very important.....................................

McConnell said he had repeatedly urged Trump to tone down his rhetoric, especially on his Twitter account. "He doesn’t always take my advice,” he said, noting the president is the “most criticized person in the world.” .....one word stands out..."repeatedly".....

Now, I hate McConnell with a passion...for who he is and what he has done, especially to Obama. Nevertheless, this is an open admission that Trump has been warned about his language and his tone..So, he is being watched by his own....and he was warned,publically.....a day before today's nut job performance..

One more note...added about 50 minutes later.....why watch him and warn him???...because they are thinking what we are...that he is nuts, and needs to be pushed out, at the correct time, if there is one. That is, they are indeed thinking of impeaching him,,,because, yes, he is dangerous..

Trump Condemns Leaks To News Media in Twitter Flurry

Source: New York Times,

WASHINGTON President Trump lashed out at the nations intelligence agencies again on Wednesday, accusing them of illegally leaking information to the news media, on a day of fresh disclosures about his dealings with Russia during and after the presidential campaign.

In a fusillade of angry, early-morning tweets, Mr. Trump revived his charge that the allegations of a Russian connection were nothing more than a Democratic conspiracy, fed to a receptive news media to distract from the mistakes made by Hillary Clinton during the campaign.

This Russian connection non-sense is merely an attempt to cover-up the many mistakes made in Hillary Clintons losing campaign, he posted on Twitter shortly after 7 a.m.

Minutes later, he added, Information is being illegally given to the failing @nytimes & @washingtonpost by the intelligence community (NSA and FBI?). Just like Russia

The Times on Wednesday disclosed broader contacts between Russian intelligence officials and people with ties to the Trump campaign and Mr. Trump’s business empire during and after the campaign

I got to say this one sentence is beyond anything I could have imagined. Especially the word, "non-sense"

About Republican Leadership...vs Drumpf...

They, whoever and wherever they are...are doing what you and I are doing..

LISTENING...WAITING..WATCHING..TRYING TO COMPREHEND IT ALL

I`wasn't sure before, but now I am sure...sounds kind of off..it isn't...What they are listening, waiting, and watching and trying to comprehend..is this: "Are we going to impeach him"....how bad is he?..How far do we go?..They will act fast and swift if they ever act..

The ultimate embarrassment ....impeaching a member of their own party...their President, ...not Clinton...not Obama..but their guy...so here is what I am thinking..that they are thinking..

.."It is getting bad..seems like he has "no control"...but..maybe..just maybe...he will change..maybe the family will help...?? we will try to intervene... We will talk to him...give him insight. relax him..whatever..But if it gets clear, that we are all in danger...we will act......We will get 2/3 of the Senate to get rid of him if it is necessary.

Now....you may say no...but I am sure,.. when or if that thing happens, whatever that defining moment is... they will act.....Right now, they are thinking.."Just how bad is he?"...That is what we are all thinking...

About Stuart G

I thought I knew a lot, and I found out... how little I knew about what I know. And how much more there is to learn, if I listen and read what others have to say.
