Hey Clintons, most of what the government does these days is financial assistance for the rich

Thanks for your concern but the whole shebang is already set up to benefit 1%ers like you. Denying everyone (who isn't wealthy) the opportunity for an education, under the ruse of protecting us from giving needless freebies to the affluent, is a sick joke. Don't do us any favors, clowns.

If a couple assholes rudely shouted "english only" that really sucks, but

one thing the video seems to dispel is the "massive bernie bro chant" meme. I really couldn't hear it at all.

About republicans using Sanders as a red piņata

Every day on DU we're treated to concern about Bernie's electability. Usually, in the form of red-baiting psychological projection over red-baiting. The concerned admonish us "Republicans will beat the stuffing out of Sanders on this, how will Bernie answer?...". The answer is us. Our steadfast support of our ideals, and resolve to not fall prey to the same old shit. It won't matter what fearmongering is issued from republican pie holes if we don't buy into it. Republican rhetoric will fall on deaf ears because, as we're learning from this remarkable campaign, more Americans agree with Bernie than fear him.

What's with the looney Sanders challenges?

Apparently, if Bernie can't deliver everything he's ever proposed to accomplish as president, right now from the campaign trail, he doesn't deserve to be president. Of course, Hillary is under no such obligation. Lol. Also, I hear the confirmation of the president's SCOTUS nominee is Bernie's responsibility too.

DU PoC, what is your prescription for improving race relations?

All lot is being asked about what candidates (well one candidate anyway) will do to improve race relations. Not the economics of race, or dealing with institutional or structural racism where it exists, but relations. What could/should a president who get's it do?

Bernie can't end racism

Nor can he address the prejudices that occur in men's hearts. No one can. What he proposes to do is address the economic disparities that shape and perpetuate many of those prejudices. For those wanting to separate people, socioeconomic strata is a touchstone of prejudicial thinking: Lazy, ignorant, drug-addled welfare queens... Bernie knows, as Martin knew (don't get mad) that full acceptance and integration into society requires we regard each other as peers. The most rational and effective way to create this mindset is to normalize the living standards of all Americans. Anything else, no matter how well intentioned, is lip service. It's incredible to me that the wisdom to focus on this enormous component of bigotry, something that can actually be influenced by policy, is somehow twisted into 'not getting it'. Bernie may be the only one who does.
