democrattotheend's JournalHelp get #EnoughWithTheDamnEmails trending on Twitter
I'm trying to get this hashtag trending to show the media we are tired of their obsession with Hillary's e-mails. Who's with me?
Exception to the forum rules to allow discussion of voting for Evan McMullin in Utah?
I understand that ordinarily, it is against the forum rules to advocate for voting for candidates who are not Democrats or endorsed by Democrats. But I think an exception should be allowed to allow DU'ers to discuss whether, as a purely strategic matter, it makes sense for Democrats in Utah to vote for Evan McMullin to deny Trump the electoral votes, if polls continue to show McMullin doing better than Clinton there shortly before the election.
Trump: I would get the 'electric chair' if I did what Brazile did
She should be fired from the DNC. By the way, could you imagine if I did that? Bobby what would happen to me if I did that? Trump said, turning to Knight who was off to the side. Electric chair, I think. The electric chair. If I did that, can you imagine?
WTF? Is leaking a debate question in advance even a crime?
Has pseudojournalist Edward Klein weighed in on the FBI thing yet?
I'm looking forward to his piece about how this was President Obama's way to win the final battle with Hillary while appearing to support her. You know, because behind the scenes they still hate each other.
#ImWithHer now. And I'm sick of having my loyalty questioned.
I made my "Bernie Has My Heart, Hillary Has My Vote" designs on June 8, the day after the California primary. I've been working to support Hillary ever since, have volunteered and donated, have worked to try to persuade other Bernie supporters to come on board, and have signed up for the Victory Counsel election protection squad.
In spite of all this, have been a few DU'ers, one in particular (with thousands of posts, not a low post troll), who keep replying to a large percentage of my posts with nasty accusations of some secret agenda to undermine her no matter what I post. I have never had a JPR account and think those guys are nuts, but I am constantly accused of being a troll from JPR. I tried to reach out to the main offender, whom I believe I can't name, to ask why he/she had a problem with me, but was icily told not to contact that person.
Today it hit a new low when I was accused of not supporting the president enough because I made a suggestion about how he could vouch for her integrity.
I am pretty sure the same thing has happened to other Bernie supporters who have stayed, and I am sick of it. The Busters went to JPR a while ago. Those of us who stayed are committed to electing Hillary, even if she wasn't our first choice. If you want us to #UniteBlue and want our help, stop treating us like second class citizens and questioning our motives every time we post a poll you don't like or a suggestion for how Hillary can win.
No, President Obama should NOT fire Comey
Some people on here have suggested that President Obama should fire Comey. While I agree that what Comey did seems inappropriate, at least without giving more detail, firing him is the worst thing the president could possibly do. Republicans and the media would scream that he obstructed justice to protect Hillary, it would cast doubt on any subsequent revelations from the FBI that it's not nearly as bad as it's being made out to be, and it would not only hurt Hillary but it would destroy the president's credibility too, and with it his ability to help downballot candidates. Any official intervention by the president would be like throwing oil on a gas fire. It would be the Saturday Night Massacre 2.0.
The best thing the president can do for Hillary now is open up about how she came to earn his trust and offer a strong character endorsement, stronger than he has to date. He has been a great surrogate but he has mostly focused on her qualifications. I think he could give her a boost by vouching for her character and trustworthiness. And that would help her a lot more than getting anywhere near the FBI shenanigans.
FWIW, the Dow is back into slightly positive territory
CW is that Wall Street wants Clinton to win. When the FBI news broke the Dow dropped to around -50. I just checked and it is now +1.51. So hopefully that means that, assuming Wall Street wants Clinton to win, they are realizing that initial reporting was wrong and maybe it won't hurt her that much.
New Tweet from Tom Winter at NBC re. FBI - emails at issue not withheld by Clinton
He is doing a pretty good job tweeting about the FBI letter accurately.
Here's what this tweet says:

Have Hillary's 33,000 deleted e-mails been leaked yet?
According to a Deplorable who's been stalking me on Twitter they are supposed to be recovered and leaked today as a special birthday present for HRC.
I'm guessing that has not happened yet?
If there's an October surprise like that, I have to believe it would have been leaked by now. With Democrats bussing in hundreds of thousands of out of state pets, dead people, and undocumented immigrants to vote early in several swing states, I'm not sure why Assange would wait to release a campaign-killing October surprise until this late. Unless of course he's full of puff and doesn't actually have anything.
