Trump paused call with Putin to ask what New START Treaty was.

his by now infamous penchant for NO briefings forced him to ask DURING the call.

When Putin raised the possibility of extending the 2010 treaty, known as New START, Trump paused to ask his aides in an aside what the treaty was, these sources said.
Trump then told Putin the treaty was one of several bad deals negotiated by the Obama administration, saying that New START favored Russia.
Trump also talked about his own popularity, the sources said.

The White House declined to comment. It referred Reuters to the official White House account issued after the Jan. 28 call, which did not mention the discussion about New START.

It has not been previously reported that Trump had conveyed his doubt about New START to Putin in the hour-long call.

" so, gonna call a head of state, one that we have history of tricky dealings, and fake my way thru the conversation, except for the bragging bit, as usual. don't tell me anything about anything before the call, I know everything, I am the world's smartest man and I have words and thoughts."

Want happy news???? Trump Tower In Toronto Is Up For Sale And Facing Legal Woes

The official address of Toronto's Trump International Hotel and Tower is 325 Bay St., in the middle of the city's financial district. Think of it as Canada's answer to Wall Street. But the hotel's entrance is actually around the corner. So instead of seeing a grand facade bearing the Trump name, what you see from the prestigious Bay Street side is a loading dock.

This is just one of the many miscalculations that have undermined the Trump International Hotel and Tower, even before construction began in 2007. The soaring, 65-story glass and granite building has been plagued by financial setbacks, construction problems and legal woes. Investors have lost millions of dollars and have sued Donald Trump and the hotel's developers.

And if we are lucky, this is but atrickle, to a deluge of same.

Their propoganda is working....recent poll shows 48% see Trump as more truthful than media.

The Trump administration is more trusted than the news media among voters, according to a new Emerson College poll.

The administration is considered truthful by 49 percent of registered voters and untruthful by 48 percent.

But the news media is less trusted than the administration, with 53 percent calling it untruthful and just 39 percent finding it honest.
The numbers split along party lines, with nearly 9 in 10 Republicans saying the Trump administration is truthful, compared with more than 3 in 4 Democrats who say the opposite.

The Emerson poll found that 69 percent of Democrats think the news media is truthful while 91 percent of Republicans consider the Fourth Estate untruthful.

Independents, meanwhile, believe both the administration and the news media are untruthful, with 52 percent saying the administration is untruthful and 47 percent saying the same about the media.

The poll echoes Gallup's annual poll on the public's trust in media, which showed before the election that 32 percent of Americans trusted the institution, including just 14 percent of Republicans.

The poll was conducted Feb. 5-6 with a sample of 617 registered voters and a margin of error of 3.9 percentage points.

I just listened to the DOJ attorney try to defend Trump's ban

Caveat....I lasted 20 minutes.

I assume many here managed to last more than that. and would like to hear what you thought was going on.

To my rusty legal language ears, it seemed the DOJ attorney was eviscerated rather quickly.

what I hear him say was basically " you can interrupt me all you want with legal mumbo-jumbo, but I have my bullet points listed on this piece of paper which say I better prove that the President's decision to do anything is the only law in the land"

and

" I don't really know much law, so I am gonna throw around some legal phrases I got from Google right here, and hope to dazzle you with footwork"

and

" I have bad footwork.
Whadda expect from me? All the good lawyers walked out with Sally Yates".

Is that what you heard?

One of Trumps severe symptoms noticable right here

Reported by Rogue Potus Twitter site
BUT
is commonly known as a trait of narcissists.
So anything negative said about him is "false", has to be, to avoid the ego injury.
but he is also obsessive about being publicity.

Compulsion and obsession, in one fell swoop. dated 8 am this morning.

Pls. consider sending a thank you to CNN and other media who stand up to Trump.

As you know, CNN refused to have Conway on the Sunday shows because she is a liar.
" “serious questions about her credibility.” in their words.
Conway then said it was HER decision to skip the shows "b/c of family"
CNN fired back, repeating their reason for not asking her on.

then today..

." Spicer falsely insisted that CNN had “retracted” that claim."

“Frankly, my understanding is that they retracted that,” Spicer told reporters at Tuesday’s White House press briefing. “They walked that back or denied or however you want to put it, I don’t care.”

Within 12 minutes, CNN had posted a statement refuting Spicer’s claim.

“CNN was clear, on the record, about our concerns about Kellyanne Conway to the New York Times and others,” a statement posted to Twitter read. “We have not ‘retracted’ nor ‘walked back’ those comments. Those are the facts.”
http://www.rawstory.com/2017/02/we-have-not-retracted-cnn-shoots-down-sean-spicers-latest-lie-about-kellyanne-conway/

I sent a Twet to CNN thanking them for holding to the facts in face of WH pressure.
I think that they, and any other news source deserves to hear that we appreciate their standing up to Trump....
whadda think?

btw....I still don't watch tv news, but they do deserve kudos anyhow.
